They suffer from what I term 'selective outrage syndrome'.
No, what I don't do is judge people's eternal salvation. Short of that, it's all good.
They suffer from what I term 'selective outrage syndrome'.
Have you ever read "Year of the Rat?" Thanks to Bill and Hillary, the largest transfer of military technology to China took place in the eight years he was in office. Look at the scandals involving Bill and Hillary...a bunch of Chinese people.
I'm already outraged at a Democrat President that has sold this country to China. I'm trying to do my part to prevent the team from being in a position to do so again.
military technology? or technology that COULD be used for military purposes? I have a feeling your not being intellectually honest again..
I guess it's wrong for the USA to arm potential enemies...
cough,cough Iraq..cough,cough..
Yeah, that explains China's exponential military buildup and technological military advances -- beginning in the late '90's early 00's.
Everyone is a potential enemy.
You should consult a physician.
so clinton didn't sell them military hardware.
how does one resale something that bush has already sold? it would be a neat trick, though.
No, worse. He sold them the intellectual know-how. They've got plenty of resources to build the hardware.
A Democrat DID.
Who passed MFN? - That's what opened the floodgates.
And with all of the (ongoing) Clinton ties to China, or Chinese decendants, I would say it'll continue unabated under a new Clinton presidency.
someone sold them knowledge and now someone has sold them our soul. i get it.
That is because most people outside of this forum could give a rats ass about the elections of 08 right now. It is still over a year away so get back at me when it is March or April at the earliest.

I know I’ll get attacked for this, but I think senator Obama would do better in the democrat primaries if he was white. We can see time and again that the democrats are the race-phobic types. They are all kissy kissy with other cultures and races, but are phony about their liking of them.
I notice mention of Colon Powell. People like the man because he is a man of integrity. Black, white… It doesn’t matter. What I see killing all the black candidates is not that they aren’t what many of us call articulate, but rather, he doesn’t talk like he is from the ghetto. That is it. No Ebonics here…
I really like senator Obama as a person. I just don’t like his politics. I could never vote for him, but I would like to know him.
Does that make any sense?
You are absolutely right about Democrats and their lack of sincerity involving racial issues. But I would like to know which Black politicians talks in "ebonics" and "ghetto."
So you went from "The only reason he is even a candidate is because he's Black," to "He would be better off if he was white."? Those are two seemingly inconsistent statements. Also, I would submit to you that Obama is more articulate than most of the other candidates in the field. In other words it's not just that "he doesn't talk like he is from the ghetto," but rather that he is a better orator than most of the candidates I've seen.
I support Obama and Edwards for president.
Vote Xray for Prez. I'll give everyone a mil in the first month
and take mine and resign. How's that for a deal?
I think the country would actually save money with you as president instead of Bush.![]()
What he actually said regarding the two candidates running for president was that he didn't have access to the same Senate intelligence reports they did, but Russert didn't include the whole quote --
Russert misleadingly cropped Obama comment to claim he wasn't "firmly wedded against the war"
"In July of 2004, Barack Obama: 'I'm not privy to Senate intelligence reports. ... What would I have done? I don't know,' in terms of how you would have voted on the war."
Russert did not quote the very next sentence of Obama's statement, which was, "What I know is that from my vantage point the case was not made" for authorizing the war.
The New York Times original article:
In a recent interview, he declined to criticize Senators Kerry and Edwards for voting to authorize the war, although he said he would not have done the same based on the information he had at the time.
''But, I'm not privy to Senate intelligence reports,'' Mr. Obama said. ''What would I have done? I don't know. What I know is that from my vantage point the case was not made.''
