I would deal Barry for Jax in a ing heartbeat if it could happen. Thats a guy we could really use against the Mavs. When he is around good people, the guy is not an issue at all. He may have flaws, but what he brings makes up for that in a HUGE way. Letting him go was stupid. He was worth every cent of that contract. He also would have been Bowens possible replacement and our Dirk stopper. Also I would love to see him in close game situations. We keep Jax/Speedy, this team would have swept the Lakers in 2004 and humiliated them much worse than they did in game 6 2003. I would do anything to land Jax back on the spurs.

Guys, I hate to break up this love affair, but there's one thing that I and all Warrior fans absolutely hate about the Spurs... has nothing to do with Jack or refs or even their current teamreally.... it's none other than Steve Kerr!! I can't stand that guy! The worst commentator ever, the most lucky guy ever (got to play behind jordan and duncan and takes credit for making wide open shots), he was the worst analyst on yahoo nba, and then, of all teams, tries to be mr. big shot and go gm for the spurs? what do u guys think of that. i can't stand that guy.

I just realized that if the Warriors make the playoffs, you will be rooting for Dallas to take us out. Am I right?

No we would sabotage the seeding so that situation would never happen. God forbid we'd have to root for the Mavs in any situation. No now that I think about it, we got a litttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt tttle bigger and I think it'd be fun putting us in a playoff atmosphere against the Spurs, although, the media would totally villianize the Spurs since the NBA does NOT want you guys to win this year, (please see: change to blocking foul rules, courtesy of David Stern).

Monta Ellis, the smallest and fastest guy in the NBA (now that Boykins is gone).

That's about the only chance we got at TD, is running from him. I ain't gonna lie.

But wouldn't you rather face Dallas than San Antonio?

I was cheering for you guys last season. But not necessarily to avoid Dallas, but because it would be the greatest upset in NBA history. It was just great watching the Mavs meltdown.

Though you guys taking out Dallas made our le run easier.

Yes we would. If you put it that way, we'd want to face Dallas, it's just, I could never see myself rooting for them for the chance to play them, you know what I mean?

What really pissed us off was last year, after one of our 4 regular season whoopings of the Dallas/Cuban Mavericks, Terry and Howard were asked if they thought the Warriors were actually a threat to beating the Mavericks, and they literally laughed instead of answering the question. Those some arrogant punks choked and lost because we had them beat. And also the audacity of Cuban to disrespect Don Nelson over and over again, who the does he think he is? But then you can't hate on AJ as a coach, or Donnie Nelson who is their GM lol. But then not hating certain parts makes you hate other parts more.

So ya, it's deep and twisted hatred.

Hopefully they will be interviewed again and asked the same questions.

It's nice to see Warriors fans on the internet for the first time in ever.
It's not a new thing: Golden State of Mind. I hate the in' Warriors, but their fans suffered about as long as the diehard Mav fans did.

dubsball, mav fans do not know how to reply in a civil manner. get used to it.

You forgot to tell him that kings fans wish death, aids, or some chronic illness upon any non king player besides Arenas.

atxrocker has only himself to blame for being treated like the that he is. If you want civility and manners, you have to extend that to others.

Our drought was 13 years, it was longer. And guess who ended your drought? Nellie. Guess who ended ours? Nellie. Guess why we always beat you and you'll never win a championship? Yep, Nellie.

That dude was fearless. Feast or famine was a man during the playoffs.

You need someone on the team with that confidence when the moment magnifies, whose going to shoot without flinching. Confidence is contagious.

Without him and Speedy Claxton San Antonio is a couple championships lighter.

So glad we had guys who would get pissed when they were knocked down instead of sucking their thumb in a corner. But Tony Parkers balls have dropped now so we good.

That's quite a statement since Speedy was in San Antonio for 1 season and Buckets was here for only 2. I'm not sure what effect Jax and Speedy had on the 1999, 2005, or 2007 les.

As for Mr. Jackson, what I'll always remember -- along with all of the big shots and the unending bravado -- was the raw emotion, both good and bad. There were those precious moments when Pop would send Manu in to get Jax and we all got to watch Mount Jackson erupt on the way to the bench, only to have Mike Brown assume his role as Balla Coach and be dispatched to settle Buckets down.

As others have suggested, Stephen Jackson's great strength -- his emotion -- can sometimes be his greatest weakness as well. With that said, I wish things could have turned out differently and that Jax could have stayed in SA. Stephen gambled on getting good money; he lost initially, but got eventually got paid. He might not ever win again, but I guess that's the tradeoff that he had to balance.
