O-Factor's avatar. Love it.
If the voting had been after then end of the season, Garcia would have made it above Romo, hands down. Romo choked away the end of the year while Garcia rallied his team to wins. Romo was voted in during the sudden man-love affair that the media had with him.
Your logic of being on a winning team is completely awful. Saying he deserves it more than someone who played on NYG because his team was better is just plain ignorant. They get more votes because they are the Yankees of football - people who know nothing about the sport all around the country like them better because it became cool to. That's all; nothing more.
Yeah, it's called name recognition.
Oshiomogho Atogwe, Tanard Jackson, Jermaine Phillips and Chris Harris aren't exactly household names.
How do three members of the Cowboys secondary make the Pro Bowl and no one from the Bucs' secondary gets the nod when the Bucs' secondary was better than the 'Boys all year?
"Roy Williams is just sucking like every Oklahoma player is supposed to suck in the NFL."

I think Roy Williams was a very good player for his first 3-4 years, but man the last two seasons have been brutal.
He was effective when he blew people up with the big hit, but how often has he done that lately? Not much.
This changing the number to 38 thing seems to show that he is realizing he'd better step it up next year. If not, that guy may be a cap casualty in the next year or two.
But it wasn't. The performances this year reinforce the decision. Thanks for playing.
Oshiomogho Atogwe, Tanard Jackson, Jermaine Phillips and Chris Harris don't have stars on their helmets, and that's why they ain't going to the Pro Bowl.
@ the Cowboys Conspiracy.
I get the bandwagon fans but bandwagoning players and coaches? (Voting is only 1/3 fans)
There is no way that opposing coaches and players are saying "they're Cowboys....let's put them in there!"
With as much as Jones has pissed off the NFL...no way the league gives them any favors.
Now I do believe that players get in sometimes on name recognition only. Not team name but individual name. They see a guy who has been there before and tend to assume he belongs there because he has been there before. I think that has happened with several players and Williams is one of them.
While I do not believe in the "put Dallas players on the Pro Bowl team just because they are Dallas players" conspiracy theory, I do agree that Roy Williams does not belong in Honolulu.

Dude, you need to read what people write. Show me exactly where I said "Roy Williams deserved to be in the Pro-Bowl" or deserved it above any other player. Show me where I've been "Rah-Rah-Rah Roy Williams Owns ALL" Must of been when I called him a bonehead huh?.....All I've been saying is that it is believable he got in because his stats were similar to others at his position and players on teams doing well always seem to get the nod their. That and name recognition.
You are saying that he made ALTERNATE simply because of the mass fan support of the Cowboys? By your logic wouldn't the Cowboys have 22 starters year in and year out in the Pro-Bowl then? You think that support crossed over to NFL players and coaches who account for 66% of the voting, are voting for Cowboys because they are fans of them? Thats funny.
