You've seen Freeney play more than I have. Are you telling me I'm wrong about him being the best pass rusher in the NFL?
He was probably the best pass rusher in the NFL this season before he got hurt, but last season he had an average year. If he didn't get hurt I think the Colts would have finished a lot stronger than they did defensively, which is scary considering they are probably the best all around defense left in the playoffs. I think Jacksonville might get exposed a little against NE since the Pats don't run the ball much. But snow or freezing rain might force the Pats to rely on Maroney more than they would otherwise, which would probably be the gamebreaker for them against Jacksonville.

I'm just saying, "No Dwight Freeney" is definitely not a game breaker for the Colts against the Chargers. Maybe against NE, but definitely not against the Chargers. Josh Thomas has done an admirable job filling in for him.

ticked off much, chargers are underdogs and to win the superbowl it starts with beating the defending champs.
What ticks me off is asshats like you thinking Peyton throwing six picks against San Diego in a game where he was throwing to Reggie Wayne, a guy who's name literally is "Crap" and Aaron ing Moorehead is somehow typical. You do not understand how phenomenally different the game is going to be with Harrison, Clark and Gonzalez in the line up. SD should consider itself lucky as that they picked Manning off six times and somehow did not lose that game as badly as their offense was dominated.

I hope we see a Chargers-Jags AFC championship game.

Dude you're a eating moron if you think the Chargers D is going to get six pickoffs again. I lulzed at Phil Simms fellate the Chargers D and their 30 pickoffs saying how their stats were so far ahead of everyone else today. off. The Chargers D and especially Anthony Cromartie are ing overrated specifically because of the Indy game.
Take away the 6 picks the Chargers had against Manning and they still lead the league in interceptions with 24. off.

I expect a good game, but the Chargers shouldn't be too confident coming into this game because they realize their special teams won them that game and their offense got rocked by Indy's D all night.
And Indy's offense was rocked by the Chargers D, minus a healthy Jamal Williams and Luis Castillo. Manning is a under pressure, the league knows this, and the Chargers will be bringing heat all game long, unlike what you saw today. I find it funny that Colts fan are looking past the Chargers and thinking about the Pats, I guarantee you the Colts aren't doing the same.

    Is Harrison fully fit?

    Clark adds alot IMO

6 picks is alot and they aren't all just because of the quality of the reciever.

I wasn't aware Harrison, Clark, and Gonzalez all played Quarterback. How many picks have they thrown?

And no mention of your offense being dominated in the previous game?

I guess in San Diego they consider "holding" a team to 386 yards total offense and two TDs getting rocked. Peyton nutted all over your faces as soon as that worthless Charlie Johnson got injured and was replaced on the line. Charger fan talking because Darren Sproles had a career day and Vinatieri/Dungy choked. You have absolutely nothing to be proud about that win for.

Dallas Clark was supposed to start that game and was benched as a game time decision. When you spend a week practicing with a go-to guy like Clark and suddenly he is not in the game, that forces you to throw to guys you don't have many reps with. QB-WR timing is important, and aside from the tipped pass that was picked, that's what the other four early pickoffs were. Bad timing with receivers Peyton doesn't usually throw to. So you can off now.

As ed up as it sounds, yeah. We played one of the absolute worst games of the seasons and for all intents and purposes were in great position to win. Then they take away our first down and Vinatieri shanks a kick.

So you think a guy that was a game time decision was out practicing with Peyton all week? Even your excuses are flawed.

That kind of thing happens all the time. Player gets some reps in practice and then the trainers play it safe and yank them before kickoff. You're an idiot.

Whatever you want to tell yourself to sleep better at night. The Colts defense obviously didn't play a fluke game. The offense did. You do the math. It's going to be a long week.

harrisson chokes more than peyton come playoff time, yes it's possible to choke more than manning when it matters, so how JT thinks having him will impact the game is beyond me.
Wayne and Addai are your clutch players, if they play, you'll win. If any of the two doesn't, the Bolts win.

No it will be a long week. I can already see you'll respond to anything and make excuses about regular season losses. Should be quite entertaining.

What difference does it make? He practiced, then they yanked him before kickoff to play it safe like they've done with every injured player this year. Then Peyton has to throw to guys he didn't get reps in practice with, and it showed. It's not hard, but I can understand why you don't get it.

If they were playing it safe, I'm assuming Dungy had enough sense to maybe give the back up a couple of reps during practice. Maybe.

Again though, why are we arguing excuses?

I'm still wondering what makes JT so confident against the Chargers?
-Darren Sproles got two return TDs in the Week 10 game. That more than likely will not happen again.
-Vinatieri shanked two kicks he should have made. The first one I can see why he missed it since they were running the fire drill, but the second he should have made. That more than likely will not happen again.
-Peyton was picked off six times and that slowed the offense down the entire first half. With his top receivers healthy this time, that will not happen again.
-The Colts D contained LT to what like 75 yards on 21 carries? Puh-leeze.
-The Colts DBs have the size to match up with SD's receivers, and will play them physical.
-The Colts have the edge in coaching, multiplied by 10 to the power of 5.

Any other questions? With Gates hurt, I can't see the Chargers pulling it out. All the homerism between us aside, the Colts have the better team.
