I don't think the Cowboys with McFadden are any closer to winning the SB.

Trade one of the firsts for Roy Williams, draft the best available CB with the other, move Henry to FS and Hamlin to SS(only one RW per team), and use the rest of the picks on depth, preferably OL.
The Lions would not trade williams, but i would not be sad if we got rid of our roy williams to get a WR or McFadden and then draft secondary.

There has been talk for awhile now that the Lions FO thinks he's gone after next year(FA) because they believe he wants to be closer to his family, specifically his daughter.

He'll be shopped and if the right deal comes along, they'll do it in a heartbeat, IMO.

this rumor doesnt make since...why wold the dolphins do it...they have 4-5 good backs on there roster...ronnie brown is a great back if he can mae it back after injury..and there was other decnet ones on that team...its not the runnings backs..i mean if dallas offered that i would take it in a heart beat and turn around ans sale again...im just rambling on.hahah

i would rather see bobby carpenter and marcus spears and a 1st for the top pick...

Who wants to pay a rookie running back that kind of money? I would rather them draft a reciever and another corner in the first, and maybe get a running back in the third.

Send him to New England. He can be the 3rd option behind Moss and Welker.

A friend of mine who lives in Dallas told me he heard on the radio that the Bengals would be willing to trade Chad Johnson for the saftey Roy Williams. He told me they really think Roy can help them in the secondary. Again this is what I was told

I know he and Rosenhaus are trying to get him traded. That would be an unbelievable trade, and Roy his easily replacable.

If you land Ocho Cinco at the cost of Roy , that will be flat out robbery.

TO and Chad Johnson lining up next to each other would be huge but idk if one team can have 2 egos that big.

I would love the opportunity to see if it could work. that would be sick. I think it could work, they are pretty good friends, they are different enough in age for Johnson to see TO as a mentor, as dimented as that sounds. If that trade is ever truly on the table the cowboys need to pull the trigger as soon as humanly possible.

The cowboys would probably set the record for the most celebration penalties in the history of the leauge.

It's okay guys, I will threaten Tony with no sex unless he throws 5 TDs a game! It's not like I'm not getting it from Jason Witten too.

I heard about that rumor. Here is an excerpt from a Cowboys forum I visit

LBOH was on Galloway & Company (ESPN Dallas-area sports radio) this afternoon. She was pretty vague, but mentioned hearing rumors about a possible trade with Cincinnati. Apparently it would be a trade involving swapping Chad Johnson for Roy Williams. She was hazy about the details, but both she and Galloway felt that there must be some additional compensation.

The thought concerning this was to reunite Williams with Zimmer. She felt Zimmer feels he could get the most out of Williams and get him back to being the elite player he was his first few years in the league. Gallloway seemed to think (which I agree with) that Zimmer actually hates Williams and blames him in large part for the defensive collapse which got him run out of Dallas. They also discussed Roy's contract being an obstacle to a trade.

They also had some interesting talk about how Chad Johnson and Palmer pretty much hate each other. They said Chad would have to be moved because things had gone past the point of repair. Further, stated that Johnson wanted to come here badly. Also mentioned Johnson would be a true #1 who could stick around once TO's contract was up.

    that would be awesome.

I would agree...the morning sports show in Ann Arbor had the dude from Lions Insider on this morning and he said the same thing.

Ocho Cinco was on Jim Rome yesterday and said that Palmer was one of only two people (TJ who's yo mama was the other) who "have my back" so I wonder if he was fudging or not.

I can't see that happening. Far too lopsided unless the Bengals are depserate to move him.

And there is no way Dallas gives up 2 #1's and Barber for the number 1 pick.

Jerry Jones is not an idiot , the guy has his misses but he has been very solid over all. Being a Cowboy fan I have been one of his harshest critics over the years but he has shut me up. I don't think anyone can complain much about what he has done recently. Barber jersey's are a top 5 seller, he knows his value to the franchise on and off the field.

But I can see a #1 and some other players.

TO & Chad Johnson together would never work. I used to like Johnson but his behavior lately has really turned me off of him.

TO only gets disruptive when his team is losing. Ocho Cinco gets pissed when he doesn't get the ball. The year they won their division, Chad Johnson was constantly in screaming matches with Palmer during BLOWOUTS because he wasn't getting the ball.

Considering TO is a better WR, and Romo/Witten has alot more chemistry, there's no way in Chad Johnson would settle for being third fiddle. They could go 16-0 and he's be whining the entire year.

Seriously, trading 2 #1's & Barber is a of a lot smarter than trading for Chad Johnson.

That would make alot more sense. McFadden & Barber together would be a dominating combo.

I'm guessing that Parcells is insisting on getting Barber in the deal since he knows how badass he is.

what about a #1, next year's #1, and force Parcells to take Bobby Carpenter back? I think it makes sense.

Hopefully the Cowboys wouldn't trade the guy with the most heart on a team full of chokers. They do need to make some moves though, as this team is weak willed and doesn't have the guts for playoff football. It'll never work as constructed.
