WTF Sam Presti seems like he's 10 times smarter than Buford .

Would you guys rather have Buford or Presti as our GM?

Just heard that Shannon Brown is in the deal, too.

Not surprisingly, everything going to Seattle is expiring, so the roster spot issue might not be particularly relevant -- instead, the Sonics now have a bunch of choices for buyouts and are going to have to keep some of these bodies around to comply with rules that they meet minimum roster requirements.

Presti and Buford are trying to achieve different ends. If the Spurs were trying to clear out bad contracts and clear cap space, Buford would probably be a bit more willing to wheel-and-deal.

I'm trying to decide who got the better end of this deal....Lebron needs a scorer next to him, they don't have any problem with rebounding or defense so I don't understand why Wallace was so appealing to them.

I'm surprised that the Bulls thought that was the best deal they could get after being involved in trade rumors for a long time now...

Wallace and Z will be pretty good in the East. Wallace will defend Rasheed and KG.

Well if the Bulls could have had Gasol last season or even earlier this season they COMPLETELY STUFFED up.

Wallace may not have been appealing as much as he was the price of admission for the deal.

lucky we are done with the Cavs this year. I think the Rockets is the first western conference team that swept the Cavs in their season series?

nope. The Nuggets killed the Cavs in both games

Pretty darn good trade for the Cavs. I haven't watched much Ben Wallace this season, but he can't be as bad as everyone is saying he is can he? I've read that his rebounding is average and his D isn't too good anymore either?

no that's me. It's a bittersweet day because I can't go to Cavs games and wear my Newble jersey.

The Cavs just got a whole lot stronger now, since they got the deadweight of Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden off that team.
Drew Gooden isnt deadweight, IMO. Hes a "good" player.
