I thought Kidd had a good game minus his missed FT. He set up Dirk perfectly for those some of those late shots (i.e. the game tying 3 comes to mind) and made Erica into an actual player while Dirk was on vacation the first 3 quarters.

so true..devin could never pass the ball to damp the way kidd does or setup Dirk for open looks. Kidd some how makes Damp relevant on the offensive end

Harris right now only has 2 assists against the Spurs he can ever find his teammates. DOn't sound like a moron. Kidd makes everyone he plays with better, Harris doesn't! And I don't know how Kidd does it even at his age but he is still playing like he is 28 or something.

could Erica Dampier be moving up in the ranks of the NBA's centers...does JKidd make him now better than the likes of Brendon Haywood,

I believe how hard Kidd plays on the court it becomes contagious for his teammates except Josh Howard! Watching the game today I was saying what the ? I mean why would someone just keep shooting jumpers when he can easily get the basket if he wanted to. I mean he is damn quick enough to take it to the basket especially when Walton is guarding him! Also another play Gasol was guarding him and he took a 18 foot jumper when he could have drove right at Gasol! Unless he gets his head out of his ass Dallas won't go that far!

you basically summurized what mavs fans has been saying the past few months bout Josh...in the papers here they had a stat about his points in the paint over the past few years...2 yrs ago during the finals run it was around 57% and this season it was all the way down to 25% or so....IMO thats a huge change, avery wanted him to work on his jumpshot but unfortunately it has turned him into a jump shooting black hole...if only he would slash and drive like the J-Ho of old. with kidd here that would make him and the mavs so much better
