I agree is time we start seeing teams laying wood to opposing players. Bring back rivalries like the Old Piston/Bulls or Knicks/Heat. Too many hugs nowadays.
lol shaq

Big Desert... Big Dessert... double meaning...
maybe better?
At first I thought this thread was gonna make fun of his shirt size.
I don't see what the big deal is ... Bowen does it all the time (refuses opponents who try to help pick him up off the floor).
Shag is a ....
Carpet?
Haircut?
Shaq!! Today He Showed That He's One Big !!
The only thing Duncan is guilty of is trying to be overly nice to that fat waste of space.
This is pretty good, must admit!
Ask Bill Laimbeer about the wonders being a big can do for your career. And I'm glad Shaq didn't take Duncan's hand. I'm tired of all of this fraternization among rival teams.
To my knowledge, Tim only does this during the regular season.
Come playoffs, it's a different story.
Then again, for Shaq and the Suns, this essentially equated to a playoff game.
Didn’t Manu do the exact same thing to the Jet?
It's not a big deal nor does it deserve a thread about it.
Yea, he played good today.
I didn't think it was a big deal although it was clear Shaq saw and felt Duncan's hand trying to help him out and he looked to his right, then to his left and ignored him. That was hilarious at least. There's no mistery Shaq never gave credit to the spurs, even when TD hit that shot over his ass in the 0.4 seconds game, he said "a lucky shot deserves another one". The point is I didn't think Duncan was lucky right there, but he just shot the ball as he had been doing it all his career. The fatass just got owned so he made the funny comment when Fisher stole the game right after.
Shaq gets a little sore when he losses, everybody knows that.. but the epitome of sportmanship is Duncan. I don't think we will be seeing Shaq trying to help Duncan up in the upcoming games. the message you can give to your teammates. Between players of that caliber, respect is in the order.
Who cares? If Duncan wants to be nice let him be nice, if people don't accept it on the court then that's their choice.
+21 for Shaq today best all season in Suns uni i'm thinking
I dont think Shaq would have took Stacks hand if he offered to help him up.
It is what it is. Things like this are important to Shaq. Ginobli did it once, but just because the guy fouling him was beating the crap out of him and there was nothing sincere about the hand to help him up. Everyone's different, and you find their true personalities on the court. Shaq is who he is...and so is Duncan.
I prefer Duncan.

Barkley taught him well.
I forgot about that.
