monosylab1k your crazy, hall is a huge upgrade for Asomugha but they should still keep the tag on him
    huh?

i hope you didn't mean to say an upgrade OVER Asomugha, because that would be simply re ed. Asomugha is one of 3 true "shutdown" corners in the league (Bailey, Asomugha, Newman).

And Jerry Porter was the one causing problems that year, not Randy Moss.
Neither of them were really causing problems. The media just overblew that one time when the cameras saw Porter laughing on the sideline shortly after Aaron Brooks was sacked, and it was completely blown out of proportion. The problem was the coaching. It has always been coaching, not talent or players, ever since Jon Gruden left.

Maybe instead of blaming Moss, you can blame the coach who decided to hire an offensive coordinator who had spent the past decade running a Bed N Breakfast.

And Jerry Porter was the one causing problems that year, not Randy Moss.
Well, first of all we know how smart you are about football stuff and how blindly you support members of your 18-1 squad and never get made fun of for being a complete idiot, however its obvious you know nothing of THIS situation. Ask Chris Meyers who did a weekly segment with Moss in Oakland how sold he was on Oakland, publically saying how the coaches were idiots and how his team mates sucked and whatnot. Whereas it might be true, I don't think you can't say that going public like that weekly, airing your team's dirty laundry, is not causing problems.

But then, you prolly didn't know that before you showed your ass, did you?

At that point, just about everyone on the team was frustrated and talking about how idiotic the coaches were and such. Because it was true. If they had a better coach, then none of this would have ever happened. Like I said earlier... after Jon Gruden left, the team never had a good coach that was respectable, and respectful to the players as well. They never had a coach that really kept the team disciplined. Let's see what happens here in the near future...

Ummmm Moss was right. The coaches were idiots. Art S let the team run wild and he hired an offensive coordinator who had been out of football and RUNNING A BED & BREAKFAST FOR THE PAST ING DECADE.

Tom Brady has publicly criticized Belichick and management before, is he a bad teammate? Is he a guy that is considered a problem for his team?

So off Okie boy, you can listen to sound bytes, that's great. Get back to me when you figure out that there's this little thing called "the big picture". You do know their offensive coordinator that year spent the past decade running a Bed & Breakfast, right? Or are you just going to admit that you're the one who's the ignorant here.

I like the way you equate Moss's statements when he was with the Raiders, to that of Brady, who threw a little hissy fit when the Pats traded Branch.

Give me a break, don't compare the two, you are just making yourself look stupid. What Moss did was far worse.

Seven years, $70 million? I'm sure there are elevators he won't hit but that's still a uva lot of jack for a guy with baggage who isn't as good as he thinks he is.

Um, Brady's criticized them more than just that one time. Like when they cut Lawyer Milloy, certain calls made in certain games, and so on.

Tom Brady is critical of probably the best coach & front office in the NFL. Randy Moss was critical of arguably the worst. There's no comparison?

Randy Moss was criticizing a coach stupid enough to hire an offensive coordinator who was completely out of football and RUNNING A BED & BREAKFAST FOR THE PAST DECADE, alright? He'd be stupid to fall in line what that pathetic excuse of a coach.

Nnamdi Asomugha, who is a shutdown corner, will cover teams number 1, Hall will actually be covering number 2. Huff shutdown tight ends last year, plus they added Gibril Wilson.

    Not a shabby secondary.

to me that is the problem. If I am correct Nnamdi has the Franchise tag on him this year, in order for the raiders to extend him out further I am sure he will be looking for a 7 year, 85 million dollar deal. He is younger and Better than hall. If the raiders don't step up he will play this year for 10 mil and get his money in free agency next year, thus leaving the raiders with just hall. This is typical of the raiders, sign big name free agents and push the envelope to much with their own players and lose them to other teams. reminds me a lot of the Charles Woodson situations.

    in the end...

the Raiders will be in a huge contract mess in 3 years. All of these crazy signings are ones that teams close to a superbowl make. Not ones who are very far away.

My understanding is Nnamdi is working on getting a long term deal ironed out. He's no fool, he's waiting until Hall gets his deal, then he'll ask for more.

I agree, but knowing the raiders they will not offer him enough and he will end up being a free agent next year and they will lose him to another team.

Again, Mr. clueless... you are saying that going public and creating animosity and airing dirty laundry would not create further problems on a team.

Nice flame try, I guess when you don't have a leg to stand on you make personal attacks... very classy.

find me evidence that anything Moss said created animosity. any evidence at all. besides what the Bed & Breakfast owner said about him.

The Raiders continued to run into roadblocks in their quest to finalize a trade for Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall.

It was thought that when Hall arrived in Oakland on Wednesday it would be to sign a contract that would make him the league's highest-paid cornerback and clear the way for him to be sent to the Raiders for second- and sixth-round draft choices.

But after spending 4˝ hours with owner Al Davis, Hall emerged Wednesday night without an agreement. And if a deal is not consummated Thursday, it's possible the Raiders might end the talks and move on, a club source said Wednesday night.

Hall has expressed a desire to join the Raiders during his talks with many of the team's core players. But his representatives and the team are said to be at odds over the structure of the contract.

Hall, who would team with Nnamdi Asomugha in Oakland to form one of the league's top cornerback tandems, has one year remaining on his rookie contract and it's highly unlikely any team would trade for him without first coming to terms on a new multiyear contract.

Hall remained in Oakland overnight and is scheduled to talk with club officials again Thursday.

Funny, all I had to do to find some good stuff was google "Randy Moss" "Raiders" and "animosity"

BRING BACK THAT LOVING FEELIN'...OH THAT LOVIN' FEELING ~ While chatting with Fox Sports' Chris Meyers about the current state of affairs in the Raider Nation, Randy Moss had this to say: "I'm doing good, man. I'm not even that too concerned with football right now. I'm just loving life." Meyers forced the issue with Moss given his lackadaisical at ude and wondered if an apparent lack of interest in the team was common amongst the Raiders. "I don't really want to single players out. I mean, I don't really know what the feeling is", Moss said. "But I know the feeling is bad, so that's saying no one cares about what's going on around here. I've said a few things. I've done most of the things I can do, and my thing is, if it's going to be relaxed, if I'm relaxed, then I guess that's what it is."
Moss also comes to New England with the warning that, as Bill Parcells used to say, the light is yellow and ready to turn red. The Patriots have notified Moss that under no cir stance will they tolerate any of the transgressions that have marked his career. The first controversial incident that Moss is involved in will be his last. The Patriots insist they will release him.
Randy Moss. Not for what he's doing this year, but for what he did when he was with the Raiders and towards the end of his time with the Vikings
Maybe those Randy Moss warnings were true. Maybe he is a me-first, fragile troublemaker.
Oakland Raiders receiver Randy Moss admits he has used marijuana since entering the NFL seven years ago and still smokes it “every blue moon.”
Randy Moss quit on the Raiders under the Art S regime
Randy Moss blamed the tirade on his coaches
Sounds like a REAL upstanding guy to me.

Lol, you are right. There is never fire where there is smoke.

Show me one example that he did NOT create animosity.

Please, say bed and breakfast again. Do you have a cut/paste of that in caps; its pretty cool. If you want, I can print it out and frame it for you.

Or better yet, maybe I will secretly make a video of it.

Here's a list of everybody from the Raiders who are on record that Randy Moss created animosity within the team.

    ...
feel free to add whatever you possibly can to that list, since you're the one making the claim.
