Ok, I don't know who is the bigger authority on the matter of stats and game logs, whoever Yahoo gets it from or the people running the scoreboard on the game. On Yahoo they credit Rasho with one rebound before the "incident", as i copied above (9:47) [MIL] Mason Jump Shot: Missed (9:45) [SAN] Nesterovic Rebound (Off:0 Def:1), and two during the incident, so.. i don't really know what i'm arguing anymore.

Oh and your seats are better than SW's but we are more towards center court.
You were wearing Bowen's jersey right?
Yeah, I was just kiddin bout the seats, The way you said from YOUR seats, I just mad a kiddy joke.

Rasho is 7 feet tall and barely has to hop to dunk the damn ball, and he moves like he's swimming in glue.

When Parker & Ginobili and Duncan miss point blank layups 9 times out of 10 they are making aggressive moves....and they draw fouls. I can't imagine a starting NBA center that only makes it to the line every 5 games or so....but I guess in his case that's beneficial.
Rasho missed one dunk attempt when Fizer literally climbed up his back and knocked it out of bounds.

I can't imagine a starting NBA center that only makes it to the line every 5 games or so

A starting center who has 2 plays run for him all night.

Little tough to get to the line when your number is called TWICE!

More plays run for him is all Im saying.

He hasn't had a free throw attempt in the last EIGHT games.

SW, count how many times he had a play run for him, once again, tough to go to the line, when you dont get touches.

BTW, you said he looks like hes moving in glue??

Hes always looked like that, hes a slow mover, he could be doing lines of speed for 2 hours before the game and thats as fast as he is gonna move, that youll have to live with.

Also, hes a bad free throw shooter, do you really want him taking FTs?

No I want him to be aggressive. You can't even go to the line when don't draw contact. How many plays were run for Massenburg last night? How many times did Mass go up and finish strong? Rasho also missed a WIDE open layup on the other end of the court. He could have dunked it, but instead he tried floating it and it went over the rim on a bounce. It just looks like Rasho is trying to use as little effort as he can to get the shot to fall.

No, I am just sick of the blind spur fans that can't see through the black and silver.

The Spurs would have the best record ever in the NBA at this time if the Spurs had Bateer at center.

    Rasho sucks.

I can't see the "they don't run plays for Rasho, so he doesn't get to the free throw line" argument.

In 37 games, averaging 25.6 minutes per game, Rasho has attempted 20 free throws this season.

In 34 games, averaging 15.3 minutes per game, Robert Horry has attempted more than twice as many free throws (48) as Rasho. I've not noticed that the Spurs run many plays for Horry, and I've noticed that he's been sharing court time with Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker in many instances.

More damning is this: in 19 games, averaging 7.3 minutes per game, Tony Massenburg has attempted 1 less free throw (19) than Rasho. Try to explain that one away without running headlong into the "Rasho is waaaaaayyyyyy to soft" inference.

I actually went through each of the 38 games this far.....this is Rasho's FT info to date:

    Code:
Game # FT Game # FT
    1 0-1 20 0-0
    2 0-0 21 1-2
    3 0-0 22 2-2
    4 0-0 23 0-3
    5 0-0 24 1-2
    6 0-2 25 0-0
    7 0-0 26 0-0
    8 2-2 27 0-0
    9 0-0 28 0-0
    10 0-0 29 2-2
    11 0-0 30 0-0
    12 0-2 31 0-0
    13 0-0 32 0-0
    14 0-0 33 0-0
    15 1-2 34 0-0
    16 0-0 35 0-0
    17 0-0 36 0-0
    18 0-0 37 0-0
    19 0-0 38 0-0

Not exactly indicative of the type of game a 7 foot center should have. I'm not normally too critical of players, but he's on my last nerve. The way he plays and his body language seem to me that he'd just rather be doing something else.

No one says he has to be perfect, but he's playing far below even his own career numbers. I'd be happy if he'd just show a little more freaking effort.

    Dude it's not just Rasho.

PHX has a better record because of there consistency and there energy, not that the Spurs don't have energy but...

Duncan isn't playing very consistent, neither is Manu, TP doesn't every once in a while but he is playing great now...

The Spurs are never shining at the same times, the Suns do.

Some games TD has a big game, or TP, or Manu, but not at the same time, every game.

If they did, they would be unbeatable...

    Ha frickin Ha.

The Spurs should have brought in 3 or 4 7 footers to training camp, a bunch of no namers that Popadong is so good at finding and ing turn one into an NBA player.

Mikki Moore is a ing hall of famer compared to Rasho.

You know what, he does look like he is running through a sandbox when playing.

    Dude just sucks.

Hey, ya'll. I've been away for a couple of days but I'd like to comment on the question posed by SuperManu!!!, ShoogarBear and others.

    The subs ution patterns.

For a while now, Pop has gotten into a fairly standard subs ution pattern unless there is foul trouble for a particular player.

Pop frequently plays his starters the first 6 or 7 minutes. Manu will come out replaced by Barry (sometimes Devin). Rasho will come out about the same time (after 6 or 7 minutes) replaced by Malik or Horry but then Pop likes to bring Rasho back in for Timmy and give him some air with 2-3 minutes left in the quarter. Then, like clockwork, Pop will pull TP after going hard and uptempo for 10 minutes and bring Beno in to close out the 1st quarter. It's the same pattern with TP and Beno to close out the 3rd period. Beno continues playing another 5 or 6 minutes at the start of the 2nd and 4th periods.

The coaching staff really watches the minutes closely, particularly for Tim and Manu, but Pop has more regular sub patterns than you might think when fouls aren't a problem.

I would add, though, that Pop admittedly does things by his "gut" sometimes.
