Are you talking about today's game?
Rasho wasn't all that great against Fizer/Zaza, so he got yanked.
Manu's sitting was pretty much routine rest.
In the first half, Manu and Rasho are playing well so he benches them. Later, Manu returns, he continues playing well and benches him again!!! What's the matter with this guy????

Can't please everybody all of the time.
We all know that Pop wants to limit Manu´s minutes and he´s been doing that this season because of the Olympics.
Uh, Rasho wasn't playing all THAT well, and Manu plays limited minutes all the time because of possible fatigue that Pop wants to head off before the playoffs.
Take a pill.
Can you imagine the wails from the Church of Manu if Pop pushed him up to 35-40 minutes consistenly and then he got hurt?
Pop limits his minutes so he doesn't lead the nba in turnovers.
Pop limited Rasho's minutes in the first half because he wasn't playing well. He had 3 rebounds on one possession off his own misses and not much else. Also, Fizer and Gadzuric were a combined 7-for-7 from the field in the first quarter, so Pop used Massenburg to bring in some muscle and D. Mass responded and added a little offense too. Rasho played a little better in the second half.
Manu's minutes weren't anything new; they are always in and out. It's best he doesn't play long stretches with his style of play.
That's not excactly true. The Rasho Police has to correct you there. Rasho had 4 rebounds in the first half (in fact, in the first 6 minutes), one of which came from his own miss.

Rasho was the reason SPurs won. He did no let the usual 4qt breakdown.![]()
Manu = Manure = Hot Dog
We get it Sequ.
You've bashed Rasho, you bashed Beno, now you are into bashing Manu.
Why don't you start bashing Malik, Barry or Devin, for a change
What the , bash the whole team. They are only 29-8. They deserve it, those soft MFs . . .
Welcome to 2 years ago.![]()
I'm all for limiting Manu's and TD's minutes.
But if someone can otherwise point out a rational line of thought to Pop's subs ution patterns, I'd love to hear it.
The score board that keeps stats hadn't recorded the first rebound until that pair of rebounds was recorded by Rasho. So on the board it jumped 1, 2, then 3 on that play. The Utah game was very simliar for Rasho. He has single posessions where he gets multiple rebounds acredited to him.
Rasho was not playing well this game. T-Mass came in and was more productive.
Yeah, he should just rebound it once and the forget it and go to the other end, cause Duncan nor anyone else misses in close shots, Rasho is the only one.He has single posessions where he gets multiple rebounds acredited to him.
It's still the first half of the season, when it's good to experiment and to figure out what subs ution patterns work best for the stretch run.
That is why it appears erratic sometimes.
And its been like that since day 1.
Why is it a mystery now.
By the end of February, beginning of March he has a set rotation.
IMO he does now.
Sub Ginobili an Rasho
Barry Horry/Rose comes in.
Sub back in Rasho/Rose/Horry for DUncan and thats the rotation.
After that in the 4th and the 2nd, it depends on whos playing the best.
Tpark, Tpark, Tpark. I can see that from your seats you were unable to see just how close Rasho was to the basket when he missed those shots. Rasho has missed POINT BLANK shots over and over again. His % from the field is crappy for a starting center. Did you not notice how Massenburg actually finished his attacks at the rim with makes?
I mentioned the multiple rebounds being inflated because that is artificially making Rasho's numbers look good. He should have made that shot on the first attempt, just like the missed shot he had on the other end of the court. He needs to finish strong.
I'm not sure if i quite understand you correctly. If Rasho had multiple rebounds and misses on that possession, then whoever kept the log for the game (on Yahoo) counted it as one rebound (and one missed field goal). If that was how it happenend, then he should've been credited with 5 or 6 rebounds (if he missed three times on that possession) and 1 or 2 more FGAs. So that would be deflating stats, not inflating when it comes to rebounds.
No he missed twice on the possession and made his third attempt. The screens at the SBC center had not tallied his earlier board untill that play. It jumped from 0 boards to 1, then 2, and finally three on that possession. It inflates his rebound stats and deflates his fg %. But no one is really talking fg % here. Just points and boards.
He's saying that at the game, on the scoreboard, Rasho had zero rebounds before that play. Then, after that play, he was credited 3 rebounds. That's why I said (and others are saying) he got 3 rebounds on that one play.
So you got better seats than me, so whatcan see that from your seats you were unable to see just how close Rasho was to the basket when he missed those shots
I saw how close he was, but once again, where is the outrage when Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan miss point blank layups and shots.
Seemingly absent, but since Rasho does, he gets ripped for it.
Why the inconsitency.
Why the inconsitency.
Rasho is 7 feet tall and barely has to hop to dunk the damn ball, and he moves like he's swimming in glue.
When Parker & Ginobili and Duncan miss point blank layups 9 times out of 10 they are making aggressive moves....and they draw fouls. I can't imagine a starting NBA center that only makes it to the line every 5 games or so....but I guess in his case that's beneficial.
If they have a bad night then they will get criticism. The shots I see Rasho missing I see Horry, and Massenburg making. Also, Parker and Tim Duncan made like 4 out of 6 close attempts. Rasho is just not doing as well as he can.
Oh and your seats are better than SW's but we are more towards center court.
You were wearing Bowen's jersey right?
