I thought the Spurs should have never given Avery #6 to begin with as that was Walter Berry's number.

Stackhouse was a man, now he is a pussy....

Was stackhouse ever a man?
Or has he always been a caveman?
Well, when that guy takes the first guy down by the neck, that can happen."It's nothing new with him," Stackhouse said. "He flails and falls and does a whole lot of that [stuff] throughout the course of the game, and it's always the second guy that gets caught. I think that's what they saw."
Dumbass.
oh Avery...I just don't understand you.
I understand the physicallity of the game, elbows and shoving is all part of a good game, but come on...shoving someone's face into the floor is a straight up move. Try to be more honest next time Avery.
Heard in a state prison... "Man, they locked my ass up for shooting a guy, but they didn't hear what he said about my mom."
In spite of silly look-at-me tee-shirts on Cuban, Avery's in a precarious position. Dirk's injury takes some heat off. Miss the playoffs or out in round one, Avery can hide behind Dirk's injury. And Jason hasn't worked out at all well.
Real Men don't talk about "be a man". They Just Do It, like our scrawny Manu putting a hard blockout on beefy Prickhouse.
Rephrase"It's nothing new with him," Stackhouse said. "He flails and falls and does a whole lot of that [stuff] throughout the course of the game, and it's always the second guy that gets caught. I think that's what they saw."
"He's always consistent like that," Stackhouse said. "He boxes out and rebounds and does a whole lot of that good work throughout the course of the game, and it's always the second guy that gets violent. I think that's what they saw."
Avery Johnson said of Stackhouse, "When you try to play a guy like Ginobili, you have to be good. He wasn't good."
I'm a proud member of the "They never should have retired Avery's number" club.
i can't believe all the Avery hate...its so childish.
AJ's just mad because the Spurs almost gave Manu his #6 when he came on with the Spurs![]()
I'm glad that you all are such homers that you can't see there's a pattern involving Ginobili's play and the response from other teams around the league. He's reckless and his 'style' (ie - falling down 20 times a game and flailing about) is going to end someone's career one day. The day is coming where someone is going to get so fed up with his bull that they break his ing nose at center court. One fanbase, Spurs fans, will be disgusted and cry outrage. The other 29 will all know he's had it coming for some time and applaud in unison.
You can call Avery, Stackhouse, the Mavericks, etc. whatever you want. Doesn't change the fact that that big-nosed bag sees fit to hurl his body aimlessly around the court every game. If he played for any other team, none of you would think his way of playing is that great.
aaaand the Maverick village idiot finally shows his face![]()
Uh oh Shank, you're bringing a much-needed dose of reality to the thread. Prepare to get flamed.
Don't cry for Manu, Argentina!
it's no surpise you can't recognize clean, hard, aggressive play.
