Mav fans have a bad reputation on this board, but not all of us bandwagoning troll bags. I've bled blue and green since Mark Aguirre and Rolando Blackman. The last 21 months have been one nutkick after another. Even winning the 67 games wasn't that enjoyable, it was like "Okay, this is nice, but I can't wait until April." And then we know what happened after that.

I'm going to eat mine with the satisfaction of knowing that i'll never have to watch a meltdown of such epic proportions ever again after they blow up the team this summer.

Is this a surprise? Mavs couldn't get it done when they practically had the championship right in front of their grasp having a 2-0 lead. What makes anyone think the Mavs had a good shot in a much tougher Western conf? A small bright side for Mav fans is maybe the reality will set in with the FO, nothing was addressed really after all their failures.

They blew the game in the second half. In the fourth quarter, Denver ran off almost two whole minutes by just getting the rebounds and running out the clock. The Mavs couldn't even touch the ball. But seriously, did anyone really think the Mavs were going to beat Denver without Dirk?

And Mav fans, while things look ty now, I have no doubt that one AJ is fired and some tweaking is done this offseason, you guys will return as le contenders.

If I ever have children in this cruel world, I just might encourage them to be Spurs fans. For their own good. So that they can enjoy all the things I never got to enjoy. I'm too far gone, but I can always save my kids from a life of suffering through ty basketball.
