I doubt he leaves. Lakers drafted him in the first round, stood behind him during his heart complications, and even paid for his surgery. He won't bounce just like that unless Lakers offer him a contract.

actually they draft him in the 2nd round
You're right! Second round.
Yep, my bad!
I meant Tony's countrymen. Turiaf is a good player. I didn't know he wasn't getting much burn out there. He reminds me a bit of a Malik Rose, with more athleticism. Same type of hunger, same type of desire. We could certainly use a good, energy player like him.
Sounds like the same type of bloated contract would be coming down the road. We all know how well that turned out for Malik...
The fact the Lakers were supporting Ronny during his heart surgery and has become a fan favorite are a few reasons to convince me of him staying here. He loves playing with Kobe and is so vital off the bench. Several teams dont have the cap space to overpay him and even if they did, Ronny wouldnt be on the top of their list. Buss has control of where this situation will go. I just dont see him bolting unless the Lakers give him a ty deal (which they wont do).
Head cheerleader perhaps, someone is going to overpay for his services, mark it.
He is Mark Madsen at best.
Love to have Ronny here, but how to him? Someone will give him the MLE, and we need to use that on young swingmen.
doesnt he have heart problems...
When was Madsen ever as good as Turiaf is now?
Or do you mean "best" in the skin-bleaching sense?
