Kobe would probably do to the Hornets what Manu should be doing to the Hornets, and the Lakers' shooters would be making them pay the way the Spurs' shooters should be making them pay.
The reason the Hornets are 6-1 in the playoffs is their TEAM defense--that's why Manu isn't doing what he "should be doing". That won't change against the Lakers or anyone else...

The Hornet's over the Spurs, who just got their asses kicked by 19 and 18 points. Give me a break.

No, I don't think so. The Hornets will not beat the Lakers. In my mind the Lakers are the favorites for the le right now. Even though I hate everything about them.

Naw, I think we're fated for the Stern wet-dream final: Lakers vs. Celtics. Kobe! KG! In! The! Finals! The NBA... It's FANNN-TASSSSTIC! (-ally over-marketed).

bring on the Lakers ... people tend to forget that we BEAT THEM DOWN TWICE during the season (once on THEIR court).

I would much rather play the Lakers than the Jazz.
I am a Hornets lover now -- all because of that picture .... sign me up -- where is the bandwagon ? The Hornets don't stand a snowballs chance in against the LAkers IF they even get past the Spurs - but I love the Hornets now...

Manu's making poor decisions with the ball, which makes the defense look better than it is. The Hornets are good, but they ain't that good.

I think Spurs-Lakers conference Finals will be a great series. Probably go seven games.

If they win this series, can they go on to win it all? It's been said all year that the road to the championship runs through the Spurs, would a series victory make the Hornets your favorite to win it all?
Not true. We got beat in 2004 and 2006 by the Lakers and Mavericks and they became the delusional favorites for some reason. The Lakers, Celtics, and Pistons are all better teams than NOH.

The way the Lakers have been playing and the way the Hornets have been playing I see a seven game series. They have home court unfortunatly so I would give them the edge. I'm not saying my Hornets couldnt pull it off though.

I think the Spurs are the best team to take out the Lakers. That being said, I thought the Jazz would beat them too.

The Hornets are a good team but the Lakers' passing skills would negate the Hornets scrambling D. I'd say Lakers in 5.
