Spurs fans too will agree that the 05-07 Mavs were the biggest thorn they faced, a team completely built to beat them, and one that in a stretch of games was something like 11-4 against them.
As Bill Simmons put it, there was nothing they could do against the Miami Salvatores, eventhough they were much better as a team.
Fluke or not, we still defeated the spurs in 5 that's all it matters.
