spurs have a shot if the refs continue ti call the game like this
I agree. Refs have been very passive. Spurs have been getting the benefit of doubt down low with playing physical on all those attempted offensive putbacks.

Sad to see even with that, they're still down and playing like .

Not sure how you call our 3 pt shooting fluke. We are 1st in the league in that category (maybe 2nd?). Where are the Lakers ranked in that?

It's not purely an issue of lineups. Tim only has ONE rebound. That's not Pops fault.

Tbh, the Spurs need to find a way to win this game just to push the Lakers to the 4th seed ... and then the Spurs can tank the final two games to get the 2nd seed.

It's not Bynum 19 Spurs 18 that's the shocking stat.

    It's:

    Bynum - 8 Offensive Rebounds

    The Spurs: 0 Offensive Rebounds

Oh and hey who were the best offensive rebounding team in the NBA last season? Was it the Memphis Grizzlies? Why yes I think it was

Yeah. I hate losing to them. At least he could've countered the rebounding problem with Leonard...

Again...it's a regular season game. Why reveal anything to them? Lots of Bynums boards are tip rebounds so well....it's fine he has 19. The real story is what the happened to TP's shot this evening?
If he had his normal 9 points this half, this would be a Spurs lead going in.
Splitter-Duncan is the answer but why show that to Mike Brown? Let him think that he's got this decided advantage and when Pop reveals that he'll go Duncan Splitter, then how can Mike Brown counter?

Hope Pop lits a fire on their asses at the half... after all, it's the offense that's faltering...
Really? Oh, thank god. For a minute there I thought that rebounding might be an issue.

I would almost rather not have splitter and diaw on this team so that at least we could say that theres really nothing Pop can do to counter.

But my goodness this is so aggravating. This is honestly the first time this year I feel this emotional and frustrated about a game.

Complain about the refs, who have been allowing the Lakers to be hacked all night long.

If TP can't space the floor by hitting some shoots.....let Mills try. Mills looked ok for 3 min. Even Neal may be better than TP tonight.

The game against the Celtics and the lakers is exactly what this team will face in the playoffs.

This is why we lost to Memphis

Spurs better pray to all heavens they avoid teams with size and our awesome defense

Seeing Bynum being guarded by Blair and Bonner is like watching a dad playing against his 5 year old kids. For as much good as Pop has done this season, watching him coach like this is ing sickening. His hatred for seeing a Splitter-Duncan frontcourt is reason #1 for fans to not Believe Duncan will get 1 for the thumb. We better pray someone else does the dirty work for us and knocks the Lakers out, we aren't beating them in 7 when Kobe returns.
I don't get what is so hard. Bynum out rebounded us as a team. Splitter defended Pau very well and boxed out

its hilarious watching Bonner and Blair out there against Bynum. That guys a in beast. He and Gasol even make Timmy look small out there at times tbh.

I fear if the spurs meet the lakers in the playoffs that pop will stick with blair/bonner over splitter.
