Rivers. I went heavy RB bc QB isn't a huge difference maker overall in my league imo
Nice team!
I'm rollin with:
QB - Vick, Rivers, and Luck
RB - Rice, Spiller, Martin, and M.Bush
WR - Fitzgerald, Bowe, Brown (Moss at 4th option...)
TE - Davis and Daniels
DEF - CHI, NYG
K - Gostkowski, Tynes
Rivers. I went heavy RB bc QB isn't a huge difference maker overall in my league imo
Surprisngly, the QBs have been carrying my team for the first two weeks, but then again, I sat Spiller last week (re TGM move...for sure) but this week he and Rivers really came through for me though.
I'm semi stacked
QB- RG3, Dalton, Wilson
RB- MJD, DeAngelo Williams, Mendenhall
WR- Stevie Johnson, Jordi Nelson, Dez Bryant, McCluster, Manningham
TE- Graham, Dallas Clark
K- Cundiff
DEF- Baltimore, Denver
D- London Fletcher
My RBs suck ass but once Mendenhall returns I'll be good. DD would you take Dez + someone else for sproles?
Dez+Balt?
Can't do it...Dez is one of the most frustrating FF players to own.
Post your teams and I will work out a trade tbh...
DD, what do you think about me offering up DeSean Jackson for Fred Jackson in that league we have been discussing. That would leave me with insurance for whatever happens with Fred/CJ and give me a total RB list of: McFadden, Forte, Spiller, Fred Jacson, Ryan Matthews and Donald Brown.
My QB would be Rivers. You start 3 WR/TE spots in this league. My WR's would be Smiles Austin, Percy Harvin, Greg Olsen, Denarius Moore & Greg Little.
In this league it's non-PPR and you can start either 4 WR/TE or 3 RB's (have to start 3 WR/TE & 2 RB's).
I figure if I can do the Jackson for Jackson trade, I can then off load Forte for a number one WR (maybe Marshall, Fitz...) and still have the most stacked RB's and a solid enough WR core. Thoughts?
I love it--but yeah, be careful of thinning your WR core too much. Your plan is solid enough, though. How did Jackson do for you this week? Either way, he's an injury concern and definitely expendable in NPPR league
If you get that stacked at RB, then more than likely you won't have to make any offers--they'll all come to you, which gives you more leverage.
btw, for fellow Spiller-owners:
In two games on 29 carries, Spiller has 292 yds, (#1), is averaging 10.1 yds a carry (#1), with 3 TD's (#1). He also has 5 receptions for 72 yards averaging 14.4 yds. a reception (#1).
DeSean put up over 100 yards receiving and got me 14 points which is usually more than enough to help win. Only reason I am not 2-0 is because I put Jay Cutler in over Rivers.
Real question: for the rest of the year Cam or RGIII in fantasy? Considering doing the Forte trade for one of them
Tough choice.
I would choose Cam b/c he's bigger (probably more durable) and has another year under his belt. Now that Orakpo and Carriker are out for the year though, Washington could be in a lot of shoot outs.
Hard to say, cam has better and more offensive weapons around him and already has a year under his belt. RG3 will have to make more plays for his team so id go with him but it's really your call.
I just can't pull the trigger on it straight up bc I have Rivers. It's an upgrade if RG stays the course but I could use Forte to really upgrade at WR IMO. Tough call.
Need Peyton's autistic nephew to do pretty average to hold on to my game.

Should I start Larry Fitz or Dwayne Bowe? I watched as the team I played had Peyton going last night...lol. I'm the highest scoring team in my league and in 3rd place @ 1-1 so I'm ecstatic that I think I'll be competing for the top 3 spots at the very least.
I fixed it,
Bowe is going against the Saints D and Fitz is going against the Eagles secondary. Easy play, imo
