Maybe Elson just needed to feel compe ion for the job. First game of season, the starter position is up in the air, so he goes off on Dallas.

Then he realizes Oberto sucks, and coasts. Now we bring in Ely, and all of a sudden he's got a threat to his minutes at center, and he starts going nuts again.

The real test comes in March. That's the worst possible schedule. When we play SA again, WE are gonna be on a back to back, the first game being against Houston. It's the same deal as our first game against the mavs last year, and we all know how that turned out.

Funny, I've heard the same thing for 3 years and the West has only won one of those. The Pistons and Heat were never supposed to have chances, yet they both won.
