what happened to the defense? in Mike Dunleavy scored 20? unreal.

Why do we always lose when we shoot well from the freethrow line?

that's because parker would rather force 23 shoots then pass it and get everyone involved and allow the game to flow..if he wasn't so selfish we'd have won, sure he had 7 assist, but most of them came late, he needs to get everyone involved early so they ain't cold when he finally decided to be a pg
"Hes Kevin Johnson Not John Stockton" - Popovich

Thats how Pop described him in 02 03, and I agree with him.

    Hes a scoring point guard.

Not a playmaker like a Nash or Paul.

People have to deal with it.

He shot the ball 18 times last game and Pop didn't think it was enough. He wants him in the 20-25 shots per game area.

Nobody is pointing out how small the lineups were for most of the game.

Andris Biedrins is a monster. He's like the Euro David Robinson.

If Biedrins is really just 20 years old and Latvia doesn't doctor birth certificates, he's going to be right there with Dwight Howard as the bigmen for the next decade.

True. The lineups were small a lot of the second half.

Bowen playing so many minutes is scary. *knocking on wood*

Man I just got home to see this! Oh well... we really need Manu back. I am starting to get worried now because its on the Utah and they are playing really well. hope we don't go down 3 in a row. either way its still early in the season and we have along way to go.

    Spurs suck.

    They couldn't hit FG 41% and couldn't stop , vs FG 49%.

Allow 9 3Gs AND get outscored in the paint.

    Spurs lose 4th qtr 24 - 34.

We gotta hope the Jazz have a bad shooting night.

Utah lost two straight now if that makes it any better. They lost to the Warriors the other night and then the Magic tonight.

If the Spurs won this game I would be shocked. They suck in back-to-backs. Golden State plays at a very fast tempo so the fatigue will set in even more. The Warriors are playing well and they are a totally different team with Nellie in charge.

This will be a good test but I expect the Spurs to lose.

Beidrins, if consistent on his blocks and nice defense on big Superstars such as Duncan he could be a sting to Emeka Okafor's quest for Defensive Player of the Yr. And blocking Superstars like Duncan can get anyone's attention.

nice, at least there's another big man to watch out for. the NBA is really in need of good big men players right now

    next........................UTAH

I wouldn't trade him, but he does seem kind of one dimensional to me.

He also is not a true point guard.

I expect 7-8 assists from a point guard who has Tim Duncan + on his team.

Is it unreasonable for me to expect Tony to average 7-8 assists a game ?

Is it unreasonable for me to think that Tony is kind of one dimensional as a player?
"I expect 7-8 assists from a point guard who has Tim Duncan + on his team."
    are you re ed?
tim duncan is not amare stoudemire,he don't run the floor,no,he can't!!!
I said put TP in the suns,he would have 10 assists+ easily
Or maybe you don't really watch spurs game or maybe you're stupid,or maybe you don't understand yet the spurs style of game
