This is the official unofficial Spurs-Warriors Game Thread.

It is also my request for an unofficial commentator who is fortunate enough to watch the game. It is my opinion that the commentating from people on the board is really helpful and very good.

So, if you are able to watch the game, if you don't mind, I would really appreciate your insights as to what is going on.

    Many thanks.

    Keys to the game?

Give Timmy the ball. Don't settle for jumpshots. Come out with energy.

Back to Back is never easy.

Bruce Bowen stopping Jason Richardson (is he at full strength?) is important.
Baron Davis is good when he is healthy.

What do you all think are the keys to the game?

Focus from the get go. I don't want the team to have to come from behind.

Also, I would like to see some really nice ball movement this game.

Fewer turnovers would be really lovely. They are turning it over on stupid plays far too often. Driving inside to create opportunity for an outside game rather than forcing the jumpers and taking ill advised shots. Good ball movement. Aggression from the beginning all the way through to the end.

If the Spurs won this game I would be shocked. They suck in back-to-backs. Golden State plays at a very fast tempo so the fatigue will set in even more. The Warriors are playing well and they are a totally different team with Nellie in charge.

This will be a good test but I expect the Spurs to lose.

Agreed. Spurs without Manu in the 2nd of a back-to-back = loss.

It seems like they are having a harder time making good entry passes into Tim Duncan.

They need to find better angles. They need to make sure that Tim is established and ready in the post.

When Tim gets the ball and is doubled, he must expect that someone will play the passing lanes on his side and either score over the double team or avoid the person playing the passing lane.

In addition, it would be good if Timmy got the ball in a position where he could better see the floor.

Baron Davis is very doubtful to play. So I think the Spurs should be okay.

The key is getting off to a good start.

I think he's fine. He played 44 minutes in their last game on Saturday.

Don't the Warriors have Monta Ellis, who is really quick and is actually shooting really well?

So, there's Jason Richardson, Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Jr. and Monta Ellis.

    Did they resign Pietrius?
Then, they have that small power forward that they drafted, the one really into graphic arts.
And then, I think, they have another big from Europe?

Monta Ellis is quick and VERY fast. I expect he and Tony will match up, which ought to give the fans their money's worth.

Eh, well if we come out strong from the beginning, commit fewer TOvers than last night, and get Parker on fire, that should be your perfect remedy.

If Davis misses the game, does that indeed hurt the Warriors... or help them?

Did I tell you that we recently adopted a kitten (got her all fixed up at the vet) and we named her Angel?

    She could be your namesake.

    She is very sweet.
