amare isnt even near duncans level but to say amare is who he is because of steve nash shows how low YOUR IQ is.
Nobody has proven you right, but you have proven yourself to be a fan of a team who lost to an 8 seed. An 8 seed that's now getting destroyed by a 5 seed.
amare isnt even near duncans level but to say amare is who he is because of steve nash shows how low YOUR IQ is.
Beno's too much of a pussy. I think a James White diving chop block from behind could be damn effective. Dude's bony shoulders gotta be like razors.
Did you figure that out all by yourself or did Mommy help you? You're quite the detective, Sherlock.
Anyone who aspouses the notion that Eric Dampier, the 7 foot post player who couldn't post up guys 6 inches shorter than him, is God is a true ing idiot.
Yes, because Jason Terry being suspended for throwing a punch is exactly the same as Amare Stoudamire and Boris Diaw being suspended on a technicality. If you'd learn to read, you'd see that I have agreed that they have to be suspended according to the rules. As a fan, I'd rather line everybody up and let them play.
Are you even remotely understanding the difference?
Doesn't everyone get it?? This was all orchestrated by Stern! He needed something to take the focus away from the MVP ceremony!!!!
Anyone who takes my joke of a name seriously, is a true ing idiot.
amare isnt even near duncans level but to say amare is who he is because of steve nash shows how low YOUR IQ is.
prove me wrong?
This is my observation, ive heard others offer the same sentiments:
Amare is a young, dumb, athlete. He has a lot of shaping to do to ever be considered anywhere near Duncan's caliber. He makes very stupid plays (5th foul, game 3). When he is put in pressure situations, he normally cant deliver (game 1), he doesn't know when to shut up and play basketball, and can't keep his emotions in check to help his team (last night), he gets unneeded fouls because he doesnt have the foresight and "basketball IQ" to know when to hold back (last night, fouling Ginobli for his 4th) What i do see, is he is extremely fast and athletic on breaks. He is the perfect compliment to steve nash, as he can move around, and get open looks at the rim when the defense colapses on nash as he runs around in circles under the hoop. He is a good free throw shooter, or at least has been lately (i dont watch his stats to know if this holds true all the time). He would be an above average player at best without nash on his team. Nash turns him into a star.
Duncan on the other hand, has proven time and time again for over a decade, he is quite possibly the best power forward who ever played.
So, my point was, to say they are evenly matched or Amare has an advantage is ridiculous.
if you want to prove me otherwise im all ears.
I don't think they'll suspend them but the refs will keep them on a tight leash in game 5 as punishment. More than one way to punish a player in this league.
Spoo fans are dumb mother ers. They won't be suspended. They did nothing wrong. Spoo fans are the dumbest people on the PLANET. A few steps towards a teammate that just got sucker popped by a coward, Stern is not going to suspend 2 starters in what could be the championship for Horry being a little hitting nash when he did not expect it. Chicken s
Amare and Diaw were simply running up to check on their teammate, before any altercation happened--right? A foul is not an "altercation." I don't see how they can suspend them.
If you think Stoudemire and Diaw need to be suspended then so too does Duncan for getting off the bench when Elson fell on a Suns player after his dunk. There can't be a double standard!
The NBA suspended Allen Houston, Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson and John Starks during the playoffs due to a technicality, which I'm sure they didn't actually want to have to do. I'm not sure they have any real choice in this matter.
where's the altercation?
i think you areNo, I'm serious. I might be alone in this, but I know a win is a win, but a win against a team with all their players is much more satisfying.
im pretty easy to satisfy so id be happy with it
No it was an Elson jersey and it was more embarassed out of the name across the chest, than horry.
The team the way they finished that quarter was just, it was 93 94 esque.
lol...i keep reading the same over and over and over and over...
i think my head will explode soon.
Attempting to get off the bench after a play like this is intent to start an altercation. Lets not forget, the suspensions are about intent, not actual deed.
At least all these sunspension threads are keeping the bridge jumpers from posting the endless "Fire Pop" threads after a hard loss.
So if he has intent to start an altercation that means there was no altercation cause he was trying to start one(he wouldn't have to try and start one if there already was one).
better get some earplugs then.
first off the fact that youre basing all of your impressions on amare off of this one series is laughable at best... AT BEST.
despite what the spurs fans might say to justify even more why they hate amare and why they think he should be suspended...he is not a hothead. its not like he walked out there and started throwing haymakers, he ran out..after the reffs told them to get back he went back to the bench. big ing deal. if the league suspends him...so be it. whatever helps you sleep better at night i guess.
now as far nash making amare... lol prepare to get owned
steve nash missed 6 games this year i believe.
here are amares numbers in all those missed games
2/14 vs seattle - 18pts 13rbs

vs atl - 29 13
vs por - 36 9
vs utah - 19 12

Steve Kerr on Yahoo:
... if the league decides to suspend Diaw and Stoudemire, it may have to suspend Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen as well.
In a play that went entirely unnoticed until well after the game was over, both Duncan and Bowen actually left San Antonio's bench early in the second quarter after Francisco Elson and James Jones were entangled. Replays clearly show Duncan walking several steps onto the court as Elson and Jones appeared to be ready to get into it. Bowen then followed Duncan onto the floor, grabbed him and led him back to the bench. If the league does indeed follow the letter of the law, both Spurs players would also be suspended for Game 5.
I watched the video of this myself. Duncan and Bowen certainly cross the line, albeit not in a heated manner at all, and only barely over the line. And at the time they did, it looked like this might turn into an altercation. If anyone is going to use the "a rule is a rule and that is that" argument, this would certainly diffuse it. Which means, I guess, we are now 100% in the land of a David Stern judgment call.
let's just quote the guy who has a financial interest in the Suns. Smart move.
Anything Kerr says regarding the Suns is bs because he has financial interest with them.
Sorry Stevie, I know your money is tied up in the Suns, but you can't base it on "it looed like this might turn into an altercation". It either was or wasn't, and it wasn't.
