I didn't see the play where Bynum blew up, but Oberto makes his living off physical play.

Sometimes it's called and he'll pick up 3 fouls in a quarter... other times, he gets clean-up buckets and keeps balls alive for 2nd chances (a la Utah game).

Basketball is also the most difficult sport to ref, because everything happens so quickly, and any any given time there's between 2 and 10 people in the same square footage.

I'm not making excuses, I'm not saying the refs in the NBA shouldn't get better. I'm saying, if you think you can do better (and I'm not denying you could) then perhaps you should get out there and do so.
