This one is going to be tough. It's a 9:30 game, I'm not staying up if it's pretty obvious.

Maybe Pop wants to showcase Manu as the primary AND secondary option for a whole game. Manu versus Kobe, that should be fun. Two offensive machines going at it with no help.

Actually, truth is Kobe's cast of characters has been doing alright this year. They are actually helping this year, which is why all the trade rumors stopped. Kobe is taking a wait and see now. Lakers bench has been contributing a lot this year.

Should be a loss for us if TP and TD don't suit up, but 2 losses in a row would suck.

    Go Spurs!

I smell a loss tonight. No Duncan and Parker is going to be too tough for the Spurs to overcome.

Bonner and Barry with big games. Nice contribution from Washington too.

Tony Parker is the only Spurs player that we worry about. Without him you cannot exploit our weakness against quick penetrating PG's. You take TP out and we have a good shot at beating you, you take him and Duncan out and it's a no-brainer. Lakers win big tonight.

Well, as entertaining as this game has the potential to be with extended Barry and DWash (missed you babe, smooches, luvyabye) and Bonner . . . I have to be at work (AT work) by 5:45 am. So. . . I'm going to bed in about 30 minutes.

Sorry, Spurs. Win one for grins and giggles. , at least put forth the effort, and most people here will roll with it. I'd be satisfied with a hard effort. If nothing else, some of these folks should be fighting for playing time.

Losing this game wouldn't be the end of the world, but gutting out a win would rock.

Wow- why to work so early?

I said last time I was going to go to sleep to be ready for my early morning/ long day ( much like the one I have tomorrow.) but in the end stayed up and watched the loss to Golden State.

Maybe it would be better for the Spurs if I slept?

Tomorrow is the day of my new college's commencement. Normally that would be all academic affairs and the dean's would be gone from the office. Commencement never affected me in my old college, because we had a graduation banquet rather than a traditional cap and gown walk. In the new college, they host a breakfast beforehand for the students and their families, and the business office coordinates and staffs the breakfast. I 'volunteered' to help. In the sense that I could have declined since it's my first week on the job, but it was understood I wouldn't and it'll be mandatory next semester anyway, so might as well take the brownie points of helping out.

At least I'm capable of pouring juice. I hate feeling so stupid. Everyone knows it's a training position and I have no prior experience and everyone is really encouraging and understanding, but it frustrates me to feel like a kindergartner who can't tie her own shoes as I stumble around taking an hour to do something that I know ought to take no more than 10 mintues. That'll pass as I learn more and get more comfortable, but it's humbling. I knew everything and designed most of it at my old place, so this takes some getting used to. Pouring juice will make me feel better.
