oops... I forgot. I thought he was still with Madrid. Thanks.

Actually it's mostly Porto and some Benfica, but that's not important. As you said there is very poor compe ion besides the top teams there, which should make it even more impressive that a low budget team like Porto, compare to the European giants, has managed to win it all.
You haven't seen anything like that lately because ManU, Madrid, Barça and the usual batch of Italian teams transitioned into powerhouses.
When Mou won that was around the time Greece won the Euro cup. Just a transition period.
I would like to see him coach somewhere else too. I have a lot of respect for the kind of soccer his team plays, and I doubt he can pull that off in other clubs. When I talk about great coaches, I'm talking about guys like Ferguson or Del Bosque, who was not afraid to go to Besiktas after coaching Madrid, and won a World Cup too.
You look at Mourinho, and he is basically Capello. They don't know what it is to have to put a team together without gazillion dollars available.
lol at the selective Mou fan memory. As soon as he left Chelsea, Avram Grant (who?) took over and put them in the CL final and finished 2nd in the EPL.
Inter was a powerhouse that won 3 Serie A tournaments in a row by the time Mourinho showed up. He should build a shrine to Mancini who put that team together for him.
If you want to argue he did a over-the-top job in Porto, then you could talk me into that. Nobody is saying he's incompetent. But he's severely overrated.
I meant Benfica, thanks.
It's called a fluke. See Greece Euro champs same year.
You're gonna upset Manu_Forever
ElNono I get your points, even though I don't agree with them completely.
The one thing I must say about Mourinho is that I don't see him being in a club for a long time and as such it will be hard to compare him to guys like Del Bosque or Ferguson who had a long history with their respective clubs.
The point remains, he won wherever he coached.
It's hard to argue against facts, particularly when you compare what he did with what coaches in the same club did after and before him. Pelegrini, Ranieri, Mancini, Avram Graant, Rafa Benitez, Scolari, Leonardo, now Vilas Boas in hope of the second coming of Mourinho. They all had the same players and money and not even close the same results.
He already said he wanted to go back to coach in England so you can figure he isn't going to stay in Real that much longer either. Now it's just a matter of Barcelona to keep him from winning and then I will say that he finally found his match.
It's ok. It's all opinion anyways, and everybody's en led to one. I'm just upfront about it, so lefty gets the idea why I want his team to lose![]()
Messi throwing up during the Supercopa game.
lol still beign hangover from the vacations and still taping that ass.
Give it to Mou, he's really a good manager. Still made though.
I would just like to point out, that best coached teams always look like they could play by themselves and like they don't need a coach. I actually consider it a mark of a great coach.
To make Messi even more overrated. lol Very much looking forward to the next world cup. 31/0. Let's get it.
.... Messi has been the best Argentina NT player almost every single game they have played.... but It's understandable that Messi haters will use his national TEAM failure as an excuse to easy their pain..... meanwhile the guy keeps ting on Real Moudrid.
![]()
Amazingly, after that display of dirty play and bad sportsmanship..... Real Moudrid is still complaining about the refs.... WOW just WOW I can't believe they actually think the ref was against them.....to me it's obvious now, it's a Mourinho's strategy... the crying is actually affecting the refs. Real Madrid isn't a fraction of the great club it used to be.![]()
It's sad that if I have to list the top 3 butchers in the spanish league, they would all be from Madrid:
1) Pepe
2) Xabi Alonso
3) Khedira
and it's not close, IMO.
Yeah, those Barça players are angels
Give me a break![]()
I'm not even talking about Barça and you got mad, son...![]()
When it comes to RMA-Barça, I'm very sensitive
Messi looks ripped. But I hope that doesn't affect his agility and quickness.
4more hrs the return leg real at barca
Barca dives, Real dives and butchers. There's a difference.
Madrid is gonna get slaughtered
AKA, 3 of our top defenders didn't start (only 1 of these played), Xavi didn't start, Messi was throwing up from partying the night before because there's no reason to take Mourinho and Madrid seriously, the team barely practiced at all as a full squad in preparation for this season, RMA played their best lineup and yet despite all of these conditions they only managed to tie 2-2 at homePep: Madrid better than us
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...madrid?cc=5901
"In the first leg, Madrid were better, in these three days we have improved some things, but I believe they are still better," he said.
"That is the feeling I have, but every match is a story. If the return leg were in two weeks, it would be different. We will have to play better than we did at the Santiago Bernabeu to win the Supercopa.
"We will have to play with the kind of speed we could not put in our game the other day. Three days have passed, we have trained really well.".
The thought of moving back to England must be stronger than ever in the Special One's mind, there is no victory to be had in Spain. I think a lot of Barca's ridiculous spending lately is simply to spite Mourinho and continue to shut him down. Of course they want to keep up with Madrid's spending as usual, but I have a feeling they want to completely dominate Madrid during these couple of years due to Mourinho.
how many players on the rmd team is actually his signing? cant compare this team to the other teams he has manage where he had an input on who to bring in
