I'm not blaming the loss on the "play".
However, the "play" robbed both sides. Nevertheless, if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't care about being robbed of praise. 3-1 would make me forget just about anything. A championship and I could careless what anyone thinks.
You can't complain about the refs when they gave you several calls in your favor to even put you in that position. That's pure hypocrisy.

Ok...I'll partially admit that it looks like Barry traveled. But, if the refs are going to call that, then how about calling Kobe's pushoffs this series? I can't recall him being called once for a pushoff.

You were gift-wrapped the entire 1st quarter. The Lakers were the better team tonight and they deserved to win.
I have to agree with bag here. Even though that was a foul on Barry, the Lakers were the better team tonight.

Dude, Kobe's averaging 1.5 free throws a game. He's not getting the calls.

Ok guys we have video evidence of the Lamar Odom clean block that was called for a goal tend. You can clearly see he did not foul him at all and he got the block before the ball hit the rim. It is extremely close though, can't fault the official for making the call he made.

Your own evidence shows the ball hitting the backboard first, headed towards the basket before Odumb traps it, clearly a goal tend, then Odumb lands on Parkers' back, clearly a foul. thanx for proving it.

OK you are down by four and Barry shoots 3 shots IF the refs make that call. You STILL lose by one... O??
It was a 2 point game. You fail.

so many bad calls in last minute, and spurs got only 1 at the end.
Fisher's airball hit the rim. (if calls were called right, lakers keep the possesion till end of game, so spurs had to foul)
Odom's block was clean. (I checked it frame by frame, spurs got benefit of doubt)
Barry was fouled by fisher, but most of time last shot wont be called most of time. refs let players to decide.

It was a 2 point game. You fail.
The miniscule contact was before the shot. Hence, two FTs instead of three. YOU fail.

You think they've called every single handcheck Bowen's committed on Kobe this series? Please.

Part of being a fan is trashing talking.... So I don't see what's wrong with doing it. If you want to be a nice guy who wins graciously with out rubbing it in, then go ahead and go that rout. But don't down talk someone for going the other rout. God damn it's just a forum. Since you want to tell people how they should act, I'm going to go ahead and say you're a little wuss.
amen brother....1 team wins 1 team doesn't.......1 set of fans happy the other not....i could give a rat's ass if san antonio timmy is crying himself to sleep tonight cuz his holy spurs got beaten by those evil lakers,,,,funny how they jump my ass for trash talking when these dopes throw out the 'kobe is a rapist" line time after time.....the purple kingdom was looking a liitle violet recently..but as dylan says "the times they are a changing"..so i'm here tp proclaim it 'LAKER'S BEAT YOUR ASS WITHOUT BYNUM....NEXT YEAR WE'LL SWEEP YOU GERIATRIC FOOLS IN THE 1ST ROUND"..sorry if i show no class but i'm freakin' ecstatic

Classy post! And as you are watching game 5 in your doublewide, I'll be sitting in my 25 year old bandwagon season seats. Guys like you make us real laker fans look like jerks and it's a real shame.
Ok nose.....I believe you. , you've never even been to the Fabulous Forum and sat with the 17,505 like I've done countless times. Run along now.

Did I say anything about Barry being in the act of shooting? No, I didn't. Barry was not shooting when the contact took place. So, once again, you fail.

It was a 2 point game, LA was in the penalty. Had the foul been called, San Antonio's best free throw shooter would have had the opportunity to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The Spurs were CLEARLY outplayed and couldn't hit shots when it mattered. I won't dispute that. Had Barry taken a shot and missed with no contact on the play, I'd be ok with that. I can take a loss, but not like that.

Gasol's missed free throws which would have put LA up by 8 or 9 pts, Kobes stupid decision to go for a layup that early in the shot clock, are a few of the reasons why the spurs were even fortunate enough to be in this position.

If a few of those brain farts dont happen, this game ends with the Lakers winning by 7-10 points and the spurs not even being in this situation.

Well said. Exactly the reason why I registered tonight. I've seen plenty of losses, but to go out like that tonight...not right.

Ignore the fact that Odom got a clean block on Parker. Ignore the fact that Fisher's shot hit the rim. Ignore the fact that the refs giftwrapped you that 1st quarter. Pretty much ignore everything that would make you see the reality of the situation that the Lakers outplayed the Spurs all night.

You actually think the Spurs are like Phil Jackson and his whiny, y teams? Pop is never, ever, ever going to call out publicly on something like that.

You can bet your ass privately though, he's going to send this tape and a letter to the league.
    Like a sneaky little .

    Duncan missed a layup.

    Parker missed a layup.

    Barry missed an open three.

    Manu missed an open three.

    10 points!

this is where you're out of your freakin mind. We can argue all day that Odom went over Tims back and Brent somehow got a phantom call or that Fish's shot hit the rim, or that Tony deserved an and1 (you say it was a clean block which makes you an idiot), but the fact is that Brent was obviously fouled on the last play to decide the game.

The only point i will concede is that the best team will win a 7 games series. Feel better?

Are you blind, stupid, illiterate or a combination of all three? Did I not say the Spurs were CLEARLY outplayed? You could have at least taken that sentence out of my quote so that your post had a chance of holding a drop of water.

Not making any excuses. Im just being honest. Gasol's 2 missed free throws kept the spurs in the game. It happens. I dont need to worry about the excuses. As you said they arent results and I am glad they arent because the current results say Lakers 3 Spurs 1 and game 5 is back in Los Angeles!

stop arguing this point. You're wrong, plain and simple. the ball hit the backboard first.
