It was a reach by a few slots, but having already secured a 3rd in the trade with Saints, I'm happy with the day. Especially ending it without Manziel or reaching for a different QB.

I just dont see why spurraider is crowning Carr. He had NFL-caliber WRs and looked mediocre vs USC who wasnt even strong this year.

to be fair i would be fine with not taking Carr if we can land Mettenberger later, but im not so sure he'd make it to us in round 3. Carr's entire team was outmatched against USC. look at the trenches in that game
