Jacksonville is stupid AF for going on a winning streak
Since the jags are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, lets talk draft
Jags team needs
1. QB
2. OG/C
3. Pass Rusher/LEO/DE
4. LB/WR/FS/RB
Jags Currently sits at pick #4
1. Texans - Bridgewater
2. Stl via Wash - Matthews
3. Oakland - Clowney
4. Jax - Carr
Jags Draft
1. Carr QB Fresno
2. David Yankey OG Stanford
3. Kyle Van Noy LEO BYU
4. Tyler Larsen C Utah St.
5. David Fales QB SJSU
what about their free agent situation? are guys gna walk, resign?
Jags gonna up yet again. They should be looking at a QB in the third or second round. Making the same mistake they did with Gabbert.
FA
Resign MJD
Alex Mack C
Greg Hardy DE
Jairus Byrd FS
mack is going to be coveted. heck the raiders might just want to bring him in and move Wisniewski to left guard, where he had a strong rookie season.
We are gonna go for Mack as well most likely
I wouldn't touch Byrd, is gonna command a lot and he has a lingering health concern but he is a beast.
do you guys even have enough cap space. i know the jags and raiders will have ton of money to throw around at mack, dude will get so paid.
there were others, but this is everything over 200K
Dead Money
Name Cap
NumberTOTAL $56,071,873 Richard Seymour $13,714,000 Carson Palmer $9,340,000 Rolando McClain $7,260,000 Tommy Kelly $6,324,270 Darrius Heyward Bey $5,260,000 Matt Flynn $3,875,000 Michael Huff $3,288,750 Aaron Curry $1,508,000 Kevin Boss $1,500,000 Dave Tollefson $625,000 Brian Sanford $492,353 DeMarcus Van $295,688 Joe Barksdale $269,900 Tyler Wilson $262,196 Christo Bilukidi $251,848 Willie Smith $228,529 Josh Cribbs $225,000 Chimdi Chekwa $222,600
with everybody's cuts, most teams have a few million in dead money by the end of the year, but this is WELL over a 3rd of our cap. McFadden also had a 9.7 mil cap number this year and he's expiring. the raiders will have money, i just hope they don't go jeff ireland
We will have 37 million at the least, 40 at the most
And if we le go of orakpo then even more but he is having a good season and most likely stays
I hope we go after Orakpo, he'd be a perfect LEO for us.
k you guys take orakpo, we'll take mack
We'll have enough cap to sign both though i can see you guys outbidding us![]()
if Al was still around we'd outbid for both of them and give jay cutler 40 million guaranteed
i can actually see you guys going after cutler and giving him that kind of contract, even with al davis still dead lol, or you guys can draft johnny football and let him get snapped in half behind that oline![]()
i actually like cutler. i've had this weird thing where i've liked broncos qb's since plummer. Cutler, Tebow, and Peyton are all guys i was a fan of. if its not unreasonable i'd like to sign cutler instead of drafting some ty qb from this draft
i actually wouldnt mind cutler as long as we get clowney, but having a new GM means he wants his own QB to mold. i just hope its anyone but johnny football, dude will bust so hard.

washington
we should have let the jaguars beat us in week 2
what are the odds Clowney falls to 5, tbh?
The Eagles losing would have given the Ravens the undisputed 16th pick. Now they have to flip with Dallas.
IMO the Texans would be re ed to pass up the opportunity to pair Watt and Clowney up. None of the QBs are good enough for them to draft after Clowney.
IMO Clowney is as big of a question as anyone else. Not because of his talent, but b/c of his motor. But then again, I haven't really watched him much.
It's obvious this year wasn't a question of his motor, he was just half assing it because he didn't want an injury before going to the NFL. Last year his motor looked just fine.
