OK
I know a reliable guy in Nigeria that can hold it for us.
Show me this mythical infraction. No footage exists showing him throwing a punch or anything close. Bell will not be suspended. I would be willing to take a personal bet on the fact.
Man everybody is freaking suspension butt hurt.

i just figured since you had seen the video of a "closed fist punch" that somehow no one else has seen, youre pretty confident that bell would be suspended.. put your money where your mouth is.![]()
yes...i want amare suspended because we would stand a better chance of winning game 5. i wont lie about it. this is the playoffs, take whatever advantage you can get, you may never be there agaim in decades.
I'd certainly be interested in seeing evidence of a punch. It would be quite a scoop, considering that nobody has caught it but one Spurs fan.
lol...one Spurs fan that has been shutdown me thinks...![]()
I bet $1,000 that Bell will not be suspended for anything he did in game 3.
^^^^^^
of course not,,
maybe for what he did in game 4
Shhh!!! I'm trying to make easy money.
C'mon guys. This is the NBA. Home of the front office image gestapo. Family entertainment. They don't like fights and controversy.
Bell was not even involved in the play...
Horry whacked Nash and immediately broke contact and walked towards the Spurs backcourt. No glaring or posturing of any kind.
Bell then RAN and attacked Horry physically. He started the whole series of events that now have everyone debating suspensions of half your starting lineup. You can call it whatever you want. I call making contact on the chin with a closed fist a punch. I admit it was no Mike Tyson roundhouse and in fact was a pussy punch but I'm pretty sure the NBA will see it the same way I do. Bell did a big no-no and he has history of being a hot head.
Bell STARTED all the that now has the NBA front office backed into the position of having to decide whether to follow their own rules and blow up Game 5 in the process or look like inconsistent idiots. They don't like looking like idiots.
even if they let Amare and Diaw off the hook they will suspend Bell a game for starting the whole mess.

Neither was duncan or anyone else for that matter but that didnt stop him from grabbing marion as you can clearly see in the NBA section of espn...suspend him![]()

raja bell clotheslined kobe and just walked off also...i guess he didnt deserve a suspension...actually i dont even know what the point of your statement is

oh.... you mean bell checked nash into the sidelines? i guess you have proof of this on video somewhere too right?

no they absolutley wont. bell will not get suspended because theres nothing to be suspended for...unless you manage to find that that "closed fist punch"
video.
Bell was an instigator. Getting your team mate checked into the boards doesn't mean you should charge someone like you're going to actually do something. Horry was walking away and Bell charged him. He should be fined at least $50,000 for that but not suspended.
THIS is some funny right here.![]()

Let me ask you a question.
Would you trade a Bell/Horry suspension to keep Amare and Diaw active?
Thats probably what the NBA front office is pondering right now.
I don't think they let all this slide.
What a great series this has been.
Here’s my take from the outside looking in, for what it’s worth. I think it’s great basketball. I respect both teams for different reasons.
1. I respect Horry for coming in and playing HARD basketball. I have been an NBA fan for about 20 years and I, for one, miss the physical play that used to be in basketball. Some of those NBA games were incredible back in the 80’s and early 90’s. I miss the at ude of “if you’re going to push my teammates around everywhere I’m going to knock you on the floor”. Was it a dirty play? Absolutely. Will the Suns think twice about the elbow digs while the refs look away? Absolutely.
2. I respect Amare and Diaw for coming off the bench to back up their teammate. That’s what playing on a team is all about. Was is stupid? I don’t know, I guess it depends on how you look at it. I think Nash knows who has his back.
Yes, they will be suspended, but so be it - it's the rules. That's why it's a seven game series. And, the rule did keep this altercation from escalating. It's a good rule.
I am looking forward to the rest of this round!! May the best team win.
[QUOTE=sunsbum]
Who charged who? Who ran at who? Did Horry confront Bell? no. Bell ran at Horry acting like he's tough. That is an instigator. You're a dumb .
i thought so too![]()
It's official. Diaw and Stoudemire suspended one game. Horry suspended two games. Just announced on ESPN.
The NBA is bull .
Way to ruin an exciting series Stern.
