I for one thought Poeltl was fine, defense and rebounding was good, was doing good things on offense. So he fouls too much but I think he'll get better with time.

Poetl does foul too much and finds himself out of position a lot, but two of the fouls called on him today were complete trash. That was on the officials. That said, he just turned 23 a couple days ago so he’s still a young player with a lot to learn. I’m confident he will get better with time. Tiago wasn’t even brought over until he was 26 or 27, and Poeltl has more upside imo.

Dude just has no range. You can see he forces his shooting motion when shooting threes. His madrange is smooth as .

I will reserve judgment on Jakob for a few more games at least. He will have easier defensive assignments on many nights. He is clearly a better help defender than post defender currently, but he has the physical tools. I noticed that he gave KAT too much space away from the paint despite the fact he has the foot speed to play him closer on perimeter (maybe due to his concern about fouling?) anyway hopefully he will work hard and Spurs staff can help him improve his court awareness and defensive position

DDR brings the ball really far back which creates a low arch . . . can't shoot the 3 like that.

Hopefully White/Walker come back and supplant Forbes/Mills. Gay looked good at times guarding Wiggins. Still need one of Dante/Q-Pon to magically become the 3&D wizard at the SF spot that we need . . .
