It is certainly a disappointing end to the Cowboys' season, but I also think it was quite foreseeable, given the way they played over the last month of the season. This team, I think, got a bit big for its britches at some point.
    Good point as always, FWD.

Personally, I would like to see Favre go out on top but I don't see it happening.

Because you're still ing talking about it.

I understand you have to live vicariously through your favorite team's quarterback's sex life, but give it a rest already.

You're a pretty ty poster as it is, there's no need for you to consistently prove it day-in and day-out.

    hahahah damn that was funny.

I was in the same boat you were last year Cowboys fans when the Colts came into Baltimore and ended our 13-3 season by kicking fg's the entire game to win. The media played that game up so much I had a bad feeling about that one. But for some reason the NE game this season had me feeling more down than that Colts loss. We didn't play well enough imo to beat the Colts last year. But we damn sure played well enough to beat NE this year. Everytime I think about how close we came to beating those guys I get deppresed all over again...

Haven't seen any messages from upset Cowboy fans on ESPNews, but I did see one from a Chowdah-Head saying that the Chargers just won their last game of the year.

TO blubbering and crying like an idiot in the postgame press conference about "The press shouldn't blame Romo, he is my teammate, WAH WAH" Yeah that was genuine, he threw Garcia under a bus in SF, drove the BUS over Mcnabb in Philly, but he cares about Romo, Sure.

I still don't know how the Cowboys choked that game away.

    Mav Fan crashes and burns.

    That was so beautiful.

Giants are looking scary good in these playoffs. I want to say I don't think they'll beat Green Bay, but I don't feel safe making that pick.

I credit the Giants with their win today, but I would pick the Pack straight up, playing in Green Bay, and there is something magical/storybook going on with Favre this season. Even if the Cowboys had won, I wouldn't of felt confident going up against Green Bay.

That last regular season game against the Pats I think boosted the Giants (well Eli mainly) confidence going into the playoffs.

Yeah i think this is destined to be the Pats going for history and the old warrior Favre, looking to go out on top, by winning the big one again. We'll see though. Anything can happen in the NFL, for all we know this could be Chargers/Giants in the Superbowl.

all i can do now is hope the Pats go undefeated. i predicted in August they would win the Superbowl and be one of the best teams ever. (ive got the quote and link in my sig for proof.)

hopefully, we can learn from this and bring home super bowl #6 next season.

Well looks like I was wrong with 2 of my picks this weekend. Oh well my boys are still advancing. The Giants are looking like they really want that rematch. Man they must really want to get the living beaten out of them.

Poor little overrated cowpigs got their smug, overconfident asses beat. Well it serves them right. They were riding pretty high earlier in the season and then December happened. I called this choke right after the Redskins beat the crap out of them. The pokes were outclassed, outplayed, outcoached and outdone in several other facets including special teams. And Romo leaves alot to be desired as a playoff quarterback that's for certain. Congratulations Big Blue for the clutch win. Good luck at Lambeau.

You know the last time the Cowboys won a playoff game I was in fourth grade. Now I am about to graduate... COLLEGE!!!

dropped passes and penalties don't mean outclassed and outcoached. outdone for sure, but nothing else.

The Cowboys should win this game. The Cowboys have like three times the talent. It'd be a massive choke job.

Although, the more I think about this game, the more I think the Giants have a slight chance. If you can get a rush in Romo's face consistently, Romo turns into an average QB ... and the Giants have shown an ability to rush the quarterback.

If this game were in New York, I'd say the Cowboys would easily take it. But the Giants are much better on the road, having not lost since Week 1 ... and that Giants team is nothing like the current Giants team.

For the Giants to have a chance, Strahan and Umenyiora will have to get pressure consistently. I'll say the Giants slow down the Cowboys but the Cowboys pull out a late victory. Unless, of course, Romo chokes again.
Hammer meet nail. Where are all those Mav Fans who said timvp was just being mean to the Cowboys? Those little crybabies are nowhere to be found.

Giants got a good rush on Romo. Romo turned into an average QB. The Cowboys still had a chance to pull out a late victory. But Romo choked.

    It was written.

FWDT hit the nail on the head in his last post. Cowboy fans should have seen this coming for at least a while now. Your team has sucked for at least the last 4 games.

I've been saying for the last month that the difference between Dallas and Minnesota is much less than the difference between Dallas and the top AFC teams. A lot of the Cowboy fans had some excuse for every game of the past month and a half, but the truth is they had been struggling ever since the Jets game.

    Romo didn't choke.

One, his offensive line missed blocks HARDCORE.

2 the playcalling in the second half was horrendous.

They went from smashmouth running the football which moved the ball well, to some half assed west coast offense.

Jason Garrett should get about 95% of the blame, and the o line gets 2 %.

The defensive pass coverage was mediocre to bad at quite a bit of times as well..

Honestly Im hearing about "They need to promote Garrett to keep him blah blah blah"

, if Garrett leaves, screw him. Bring in a Cam Cameron and see the Cowboys offense get better.

He would have a good RB in barber and a very good QB in Romo.

This is a choke, but alot of the choke goes on Garrett.

One thing the G Men have going for them is that if they win on the road at Green Bay, they will be wearing road jerseys in the Super Bowl.

We still have the best record in basketball and are 30-5. A loss last night is nothing plus Pats winning obviously meant so much more. Oh and on a quick side note thanks for the draft pick.
