Cowboys 31-24. Second best game of the week after the Jags upset of the Pats.

    Who do you got?

Cowboys by 10+ due to matchup advantages over the Giants.

If TO isn't 100%, the Giants have an outside shot but I still think the Cowboys win.

The Cowboys should win this game. The Cowboys have like three times the talent. It'd be a massive choke job.

Although, the more I think about this game, the more I think the Giants have a slight chance. If you can get a rush in Romo's face consistently, Romo turns into an average QB ... and the Giants have shown an ability to rush the quarterback.

If this game were in New York, I'd say the Cowboys would easily take it. But the Giants are much better on the road, having not lost since Week 1 ... and that Giants team is nothing like the current Giants team.

For the Giants to have a chance, Strahan and Umenyiora will have to get pressure consistently. I'll say the Giants slow down the Cowboys but the Cowboys pull out a late victory. Unless, of course, Romo chokes again.

I wonder if there is any legitimacy about the old addage that it's difficult to beat the same team three times in one football season? From all of my years playing football I've never played the same team three times in one season so I have absolutely no idea if there is any validity to it at all. If so, then that's one thing the Giants have in their favor. Not much else, though.

The Giants have been hot lately while the Cowboys had some letdowns in the last few weeks. That might play out better for the Giants, but the Giants one road loss was at Dallas. If the Cowboys can polish their game and start playing like they did the first 3/4 of the season, they will probably win it fairly convincingly.

The Cowboys have been run on these past few weeks and the Giants have been a solid running team recently. The pressure they will create on Hollywood Romo will cause him to throw at least 2 ints and the Dallas running game will be nonexistent. I expect Baby Manning and the Giants to win by 3. The difference will be in the coaching where Tom Coughlin's playoff record is far better than Wade Phillips'.

Giants have beaten ty teams while losing to all the good ones. Lost to the Cowboys twice,Packers,Pats and beat the 49ers, Bears, Jets, and 2 average teams in the Skins and the Bucs. The Giants are overrated and arent anywhere near an elite class. Cowboys will pick them apart easily.

The Giants' running game concerns me greatly, as is the similarity between this year's Cowboys and last year's Mavericks. The Cowboys have had zero rhythm and everyone in the stadium is going to tighten up WHEN the Giants get out to an early lead, even though the Cowboys trailed in just about every game this year. They really have no excuse whatsoever to lose this game; you might see Garrett promoted to Wade's position if they do. If they can't handle the pressure of this game, then they aren't super bowl contenders and might as well not waste my time.

To guage much of anything from that performance by the giants yesterday would be difficult. The exhibition of football by TB was one of the worst I have ever seen. The missed tackle for the second (?) giants TD by Derrick Brooks looked like a high school player. That score, along with giving NY three points at the beginning of the second half with the fumble on the kickoff was awful. Jeff Garcia's lousy pass to Galloway that was intercepted by NY wasn't even close to the receiver - a rotten throw. Tampa's offense was absolutely horrible all day long and never put any pressure on NY after the first quarter.

I'm reading in the Dallas Morning News that TO will very likely be a go next week. In addition, Terry Glenn will now be out there and has the ability to stretch their defense. Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton, Marion Barber, Sam Hurd, Tony Curtis, Julius Jones (even him) and the rest of the crew will be fully healthy. New York has had trouble containing any of these guys and not just TO. Dallas' O-Line is much better than TB's as well. The injured Jeff Garcia could not get the ball to the injured Joey Galloway (his only real threat) because the Giants kept running by TB's green O-Line and hitting the quarterback at will. NY will not be able to get to Romo nearly as much.

The BSPN network seems to almost ignore the absolute fact that Jeremy Shockey will most definitely NOT be playing. Against Dallas, that is the guy who seems to be the one who consistently keeps drives going more than anyone over the years.

Buress is the main threat now and with a completely healthy defense he can be limited. His three touchdowns in the first game of the season was helped greatly by Terrance Newman being injured and out of that contest.

Eli's fragile psyche will be fractured next week because he won't be able to dink and dunk his way down the field like he did with Tampa. Someone will get there consistently and pop him in the mouth. E. Manning's hang dog face will return when that happens.

Dallas will be motivated with most of the media now writing them off. [Especially BSPN - home of the unabashed Giants ass kisser and fan Linda "Mr. Ed" Cohen. Can't stand that chick - she needs to go out to the pasture soon.]

Brandon Jacobs will probably say something stupid again and then do nothing on the field to back it up.

Jason Garrett has been with the Giants as a player recently and knows those guys pretty well. He will continue to devise something to keep their defense off balance. Dallas should be able to move on to the next game.

I don't like the looks of this game. Giants on a roll and the cowboys in a month long funk..toss in the cowboys have beaten them twice already...

In all honesty this Cowboy teams seems a bit mentally weak to me.... not a good thing when playing a hot team.. I hope I'm wrong but I see a replay of the Bucs game only this one will be in Irving..

    Dallas 27

    New York 7

Close game at half, but Dallas comes out firing in the second half and puts them away with ease, as Eli throws 2 picks.

The good thing is (like last week with all the Redskin hype) that all the media types are picking the Giants to win. That should serve as some additional motivation.

Given Dallas sports history (chokes and 1st rd exits) over the past 2-3 yrs, I'm going with the Giants...

    Mavs
    Cowboys
    Stars
    Desperados

    It's been ROUGH around here...

Because a team as good as Dallas really needs bulletin board material.

Giants are clicking. Cowboys havent played a meaningful game in like a month, and are likely to be out of rhythm. I have to say it looks like the Giants will win, but the Giants do have a reputation for choking when it matters most.

They are a young team so yeah it could help.

I also like how the media, ESPN specifically, has the attention span of 1 week and are picking the Giants to win. So now they, not the redskins anymore, are hot , and are going to roll the Cowboys this weekend.

The big thing in the matchup is no Shockey, who typically does well against the 'Boys. Also, the Giants pass rush is overrated. Only once this season have they registered more than 2 sacks against a team NOT in the bottom half of the league in sacks allowed. And now that Eli thinks he's Peyton, he will turn back into Eli. I say Cowboys force him into 2-3 turnovers. And with T.O. back, the Giants can't afford to stack the box which means a big game for MB3.

ESPN also reports that Romo spent the "Bye WEEK", not weekend mind you, in Cabo.

Dallas has been struggling on offense as of late, they really need to get it together now. If TO is not back 100%, they could be in a little trouble. They really need Romo, Witten and Barber to step up big. On D Newman and Williams need to have a good day as well. With the boys at home I think they pull it off, but not easily.

    Cowboys 24
    Giants 17
