manu is getting to the hole, but not whole enough to finish. he needs to kick more.

that and the team as a whole is making way too many turnovers, and on a couple possesions passing up shots. at least they are running more now and its getting the suns in foul trouble.

Our offense is absolute right now. When Barry came in he gave it fluidity. All in all this has been a disgusting show of offense by the Spurs, maybe the worst offsensive first half (before we showed signs of life really late into it) I've ever seen them play

-Ginobili, Parker and Bowen can't play much worse. They simply can't. Not even if they tried.

-THANK THE LORD FOR BRENT BARRY. He needs to play a lot more.

-Udoka sucks so far. Finley sucks. Oberto sucks. Thomas decent. Vaughn decent.

Hopefully this was as bad as it can get. Bring it in the second half. Get this damn win.

I have 3 years of recent history to back up my argument. The Spurs have looked pretty bad offensively in a couple of regular season games against us, but even when the Suns play great... when Amare scores 40, when Nash dishes like crazy, the Spurs still allow themselves to stay in it until the end.

The Suns aren't a great defensive team, either, so they have trouble putting away good teams.

I think that problem becomes apparent if Shaq fouls out and the Suns have to double team Duncan in the 4th.

Because even if Bowen and Finley are 0-fer, they will hit big 3's in the 4th quarter guaranteed.

I'd like to see some moe Giracek out there to defend Ginobili and give Bell some rest for the 4th.

really? I mean, it's tough to hold big leads, especially against teams of this caliber, but as a Spurs fan this looks brutal.


Even if the Spurs somehow take this game, I have no faith in this team winning games against PHX if Shaq gets meaningful minutes.


I also don't expect Nash to be this "quiet".

Diaw and Boboso won't play that well consistently and Parker/Ginobili/Bowen won't play that poorly. This series has yet to really begin. There's going to be a lot of changes and momentum swings before this one is done.
