Crater face trying to give secrets to Kerr on how to defend Kawhi. lol pathetic.
Somebody wanted it.
Davis Robinson have been saying something something last summer.
The question was, if he talked with Kawhi, and he (DRob) answered, that he talked with his uncle.
I hope that Tim will stay away from it.
Cris Carter certainly knows a few things about integrity
Thanks RCD for bringing up the Michael Wright podcast. I think that most of the information coming from him is a lot more balanced than the national media. The San Antonio media has been out to lunch for most of the last ten years. I get nothing from them.
I think he is the most reliable source. He helped Ramona Shelbourne write that article and also leaked some of the Uncle Dennis stories
Wright told a few Uncle stories in the podcast but it sounds like he had a lot more of them.......
That's why it is so infuriating here. I'm not sure the Spurs could really account or plan for all of this nonsense and then Nephew goes dark summer of 2017 and it went to in a handbasket.
KL did not adequately perform his duties under the player contract either in my view.
I have no idea why the Michael C Wright podcast hasn't been brought up on any of the shows. Speak for yourself, Undisputed, First Take, the Jump, the Herd. No one talked about it.
because it doesn't fit their narrative. They want Kawhi in LA or NY
It will be interesting, later on this summer, who Michael C Wright ends up working for when his contract with ESPN is over. What is he going to say when ESPN isn't breathing down his neck?
Who knows if he will even release the truth afterwards. I'm sure ESPN has power to threaten and make sure he gets blackballed by other media outlets unless Michael decides to work independently.
Exactly. One of the cohost or radio personalities with some clout is going to have to bring it up for it to get some traction. Maybe Beadle will bring it up if ESPN is doing the finals.
Beadle is not going to bring it up. When she went on her emotional rant against #2 last year she was taken off the air for a week. Her corporate masters are not going to allow her to bring it up.
There is the possibility of him having to go full freelance, if he's willing to do so. And don't think there aren't sports outlets that won't want to capitalize on a full detailed information story of this whole saga to stick it to ESPN. A true accounting of everything to the present day, including how he was treated by ESPN after the July 5th 2018 podcast, is a story that will sell not only nationally but globally! Michael C Wright plans this right, the rites to the spec story he has to tell is going to be werth a pretty penny.
If Kiwi gets drafted by Indy, he never makes an all-star game, probably bounces around the league like Aminu. Spurs should get credit for making him the monster he is today. He worked his ass off, but you still gotta get playing time and the proper tutors to upgrade your abilities. The fact Pop called him “the big one” and believed in him early on really helped him achieve the status he has today. I’m past most of the drama. I only wish he didn’t ring while still on his original Spurs deal.
larry bird would’ve helped kawhi.
Chris Carter is a piece of lying
No, kawhi is like SF version of Tim Duncan, he would thrive anywhere!
You have absolutely no evidence to suggest that. Nearly every player with his original, raw, unrefined skillset (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Stanley Johnson, Justise Winslow, etc.) has floundered on lottery teams or not reached his heights.
Yes, he deserves most the credit for working his ass off and being able to develop into a elite level talent, but the coaching/development staff put the pieces in place (changing his stroke, working of his moves, etc.) and in the right framework.
That doesn't mean they can just create "another Leonard," but they can hopefully find another young, untapped wing player and mold into a quality NBA player.
even Uncle Dennis agreed with that. Said Kawhi wouldn't be the player he is if it wasn't for the Spurs after 2014
I don't know much about Cris Carter, I thought he was regarded as a top NFL receiver. I also assumed he was a clean-cut type of guy. Was he actually snorting coke and drinking during his playing days?
It's all him, it was a natural growth year by year, I said from the start he was a dream draft pick, he fall in the draft only because teams didn't know how to interpret his shyness, spurs didn't have a problem with it because the experience with Timmy
