Isn't Malone signing with SA one of the signs of the Apocalypse?
Hey, what're those four guys on horses doing out there...........? Uh oh.

Utah Jazz play by play man Craig Bolerjack says a 'source close to Karl Malone' has told him that the second leading scorer in NBA history has made up his mind to join the San Antonio Spurs.
"A source to Karl told me yesterday that the Mailman was going to play the final half of the season with San Antonio," Bolerjack told San Antonio's First News on 1200 WOAI this morning.
There is no official announcement from the Spurs or from Malone, and Bolerjack warned that Malone may change his mind, as he is prone to do. Bolerjack said he has not personally talked to Malone.
"He's an emotional man, he's going through what most athletes go through at the time of retirement, and that's making up his mind whether he can continue to play," Bolerjack said.
Bolerjack said the lure of winning a championship ring remains the 'allure' that could convince Malone to resign with the Spurs to be on the team after the All Star break.
"That carrot dangles in front of you, and that's either the ring or retirement," bolerjack said. "Can he retire without a ring? That's the question right now, he was so close last year with the Lakers."
Bolerjack has a sports talk show on Salt Lake City radio station KZN-AM.
Malone met with Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich and superstar forward Tim Duncan in San Antonio over the weekend, and both sides were positive coming out of the meeting. Bolerjack said Malone should make a final decision 'in the next week to ten days.'

Well well well.... I really don't know what to think....
I can only assume, since he's done a good job thus far, that Pop
knows what he is doing...
And let me think.... We "posters" have how many RINGS?
Welcome Karl.... don't this up!!!
Regards,
The Gopher
WTF? Enough already.Malone met with Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich and superstar forward Tim Duncan in San Antonio over the weekend, and both sides were positive coming out of the meeting. Bolerjack said Malone should make a final decision 'in the next week to ten days.'
Coat-tailer, hopping aboard the gravy train, bogart, piker, moocher, etc
So ...you post the article in the original malone thread ...then you decide that the forum could use one more malone thread ..so you open up a new thread with the same article you just posted in the first malone thread?
If Malone comes will Spurs still go after Cliff Robinson?
Oh absolutely. The 7th lowest team payroll in the NBA isn't enough.
Cool! Do u think they have a real shot at him?
I almost hope they do.
He's about ten games too late for that."A source to Karl told me yesterday that the Mailman was going to play the final half of the season with San Antonio,"
If Mourning is signing with the Heat, Malone is no longer a want. It's a need.
Yeah, the Spurs need an old broken down former all-star bigman to keep up with the Joneses...
You're gonna look pretty foolish when Malone plays a big part in bringing home the le.
How about he goes down with a hurt pussy and the Spurs win a le without him?
They don't need him at this point.
PS You have the market cornered on foolish arguments.
The prick probably wont make up his mind till the night before the playoffs.
Retire now, Karl.
will wait to see the official word..until then..who cares...
"coat-tailing mother er"
It's much worse.
Now that Spurs are every stupid sports journalist pick for NBA le, as well as the legit sports journalists, Malone's "mysterious" but pre-meditated, calculated delay could pay off big.
For the tiniest possible risk (see LV betting line on Spurs/ le), for the tiniest possible wager (30 max season games, 28 max playoff games, just 4 more months max end-to-end in a career of 20 yeras), he could obtain the highest payback of a ring. You dirty, cheating bas .
I feel much better about a Mengke Bateer getting a ring with the Spurs than I ever will about Malone getting one, even if Malone makes a measureable contribution to winning in 05.
I don't care if he makes considerable contribution to winning next June, his delay in deciding is fundamentally dishonest and unfair, pure spineless chicken , just like his entire NBA career.

the spurs are the spurs.. whoever is on the team i will be happy if they win..
Can we change boutons' le to "Sunshine"?
They don't need him at this point.
spark, i love malik. i root for rasho. but to think that TD and those two can handle Shaq/Zo or The Wallace Bros. & McDyess without any problems is foolish.
i'd rather our Spurs win with evil, then lose without. i can handle malone in a spurs jersey for a few months....
BUT he don't get #32 though. that would piss me off and i would root for him to get injured.![]()
That one will be retired 3/3 I believe ... no worries.![]()
