Yea I could not tell where the defender was coming from, I was on the opposite baseline and about 30 roows from the floor. . My point was that maybe rasho thought the defender was going to get there in time and reacted. Although it may have been a bad reaction, atleast it went in.

I guess he could have thought that. If he goes up strong he has way more chance of drawing a foul at least. Yeah your angle wasn't so good on that play. I was more to the side and saw that you could have put Mutumbo with his arms stretched out in the space between Rasho and the defender.

The point is that his mentality should have been to try to take it strong.

If he were ordinarily as agressive as EVERYONE (including and especially Pop) says he needs to be, no one would be saying anything about this particular play. Instead it has become emblematic of exactly why he gets criticized.

Yeah I hate Rasho, he needs to learn those floaters are only worth one point not two like you get for a dunk....

one last point:

I bet any $$ that Rasho has never shot/practiced a floater in his life. The poor guy looks so flummoxed and uncoordinated out there that I bet how he took that shot surprised Rasho as much as anybody. I bet he wanted to shoot a baby-hook but couldn't figure out how to turn his shoulders in line with the shot. That was his "face-the-basket baby hook", not a floater.

I do not know the exact figures but the religious map of Slovenia is roughly 75-80% Roman Catholics, 19-24% Protestants, 1% others.

Our Southern neighbour Croatia is a strong Roman Catholic bastion (well over 90%).

More to the south/east things get more complicated.
