Guys were moving without the ball. This can and should be done in any set. It sounds like you guys want Barry to play the point no matter who else is out there. I don't have an objection to that except when Parker is there.
Actually this is the smartest thing you've said in this whole string. The offense was different tonight. There were twice as many passes in this game than normal. The ball movement was great. NOT just by Barry but by everyone! Everyone else saw it. You just don't get it dude.

It should be obvious by now that Beno and Barry play a different type of game than Tony and Manu. More passing and ball movement and less one-on-one driving to the basket. Each tandem brings separate talents to the Spurs as a unit.
Maybe the two backcourts should be playing as units in the rotations every time rather than as individual subs utions for Tony or Manu except in injury or foul trouble or other exceptions.
Except that you are implying that I said this to you, and you know that I ing didn't. If I use an F-bomb in here, it is rarely direct at someone. It will be something like the following:If I say "FXXk you" to you on the street, how would you feel?

If you can't handle profanity that's not directed at you, then you are the one with the problem, and need to work it out, or leave.

I mean I'm a big supporter of "freedom of speech", but that wouldn't equate to me running around the halls at work and throwing an F-bomb at everyone I ran into.... You know what would happen??? I would definitely get fired... Would it be fair... could I claim my freedom of speech....

Seriously though, you guys/gals need to lighten up as far as getting defensive is concerned... You almost take every comment you don't agree with as a personal attack... and then lash out in a personal matter.
All GoSpursGo was trying to say... and he/she never implied that it was a personal insult to him/her.... was that there could be children on the forum lurking around trying to gain insight on their favorite team... It's rather classless, rude and vulgar to treat this place like you were at a bar or a club (which by the way are places that deny access to minors).
Go on ahead and cuss all you want in club forum... that's the more appropriate place to vent.

By the way exstatic I wasn't addressing the above post solely at you... I was addressing it to the group of people who jumped on the "lets condescendingly look down on the goody-two-shoes" bandwagon...
All I heard in those posts were....
Justification this... blah blah blah ....... Justification that.... and I can cuss whenever I f'n want to.... and you're not my mother to tell me otherwise........
Again, I'm no one to tell you what to do or say... but is it that much to ask that you all would be a little more courteous???? EVEN on this forum which allows it....

Profanity has become so engrained in our culture, that many a times the intent to offend is not there anymore... in fact many people use profanity in an endearing fashion.
The problem with that concept is that it creates a social rift with those who have chosen not to express themselves in that manner. Does it mean that they look down on you??? If they do, then they are being hypocrites...
It is another matter to point out the issue... Notice, I never told you to change your language.... all I said was to take it to the more appropriate forum...
Again, I'm not going to try and change a person's behavior... what good would a post do against years of being molded by that person's surroundings and experiences. Absolutely nothing????

I agree, but I think anyone would agree this DOESN'T happen as much when T.P. is running the offense. And for good reason, Tony can get his shots off and create his own offense which is fine. But, if Tony's not in there, I think BB should run point. Or BB at the wing and Beno at the point is a great combination with Dev running the 3...
