Does anyone here know anything about football?? With Favre the Vikes now have a competent QB to go along with a nice target in Berrian and a ridiculous back in Adrian Peterson. Add in a very good defense and what you have is an instant le contender. Don't wanna throw it? Hand it to AP. Then go play action to Berrian once the LBs and safeties start creeping in. This is a serious upgrade over Rosenfels and Jackson and leaves the Vikes with almost no weaknesses(maybe secondary). Favre proved last year that he can still be effective and throw the deep ball when healthy. Don't forget that he still has the most impressive iron-man streak in any sport (yes, that includes Ripken). He's won 3 MVPs and has been playing since most of you whiny little es were in high-chairs. I'm a Niner fan, but I happen to appreciate great players.
