Byron Scott isn't a good coach, he's average, just like the majority of coaches in the NBA..
Bill Simmons has a section on this in his book, and it's definitely accurate IMO..the majority of coaches in the NBA don't positively impact teams, the players make the difference..there are only about 10 coaches or less in NBA history that actually consistently impact a team in a major way IMO..
Scott is an average coach at best..he's not a good x's and o's guy, he doesn't have versatility in his coaching..he doesn't really do anything that stands out..this isn't anything new, it was the same thing in New Jersey..
