It also does not help when you have French blinders on. People seem to think that saying anything negative at all is being a bad fan. If people can back up what they say, it makes sense to mention it.
You are trying to argue straight-faced that TP was playing fine for the entire year, when his numbers clearly don't back it up. Not only his numbers, but his impact on games. When you watch him, you can see him struggling, but you seem to think that anyone who says something is not a fan.
Take off the blinders and be a fan of the team, not the player. You can do both. You have to understand that fans are not coaches. They don't always look at things objectively. Being a real fan is not always agreeing and never saying anything bad. It is being honest and supporting the team even when things look rocky.
Just because someone is upset at a players current play does not mean they hate them or want them gone. It means they notice a current problem.
