So it's actually in question whether Tony and Hill are the Spurs starting backcourt?

Unless Anderson catches fire and Pop wants to start a rookie at SG, Tony and Hill have to be starting.

Manu is definitely coming off the bench. Spurs need him rested for April onward.

I guess if I think about it a bit more, IF the Spurs are resigned to losing TP at the end of the year, then starting Manu and Hill would be best.

But even then, Manu's minutes have to be really limited. I'd like the same thing as with TD...4 minutes to start the game...4 minutes to end the half....4 minutes to start the 3rd...and 8 minutes to finish the 4th. 20 total. Keep him fresh.

TP will still carry the PG load, but he'd surely be POd not to be starting and would definitely have his bags packed.

He didn't like being benched behind Hill? That's NOT what Tony Parker was saying 2 months ago.... he said he didn't mind it and would be happy with whatever role Pop assigned him if it's for the better of the team.
