I don't really see it. Knicks will not be good even with TP and Amare. TP's game does not really complement his. And that team will be mediocre if the just add TP next year.

It could happen. I guess if TP thinks the spurs will be bottom dwellers after TD retires, then MAYBE NY is one of the few who could give him a max contract that might still make the playoffs, so they are the best option in that case?

He's been to the top of the mountain three times. What else is left for him in SA? TD's career is nearing its end and Pop will likely leave at the same time. He could head to NYC and take part in reviving a moribund Knicks team. Maybe he just loves NYC. He can make a lot of $ in NY as a Knick, especially when compared playing out his career in SA. Who knows (except for him)?
