to be a top 5 receiver, you actually have to have opposing teams gameplan against you.

Good point tbh. Austin needs to have another good season before being a top 5 receiver.

    top 5 receivers imo:

    1. Andre johnson
    2. Larry fitzgerald
    3. Randy moss
    4. Brandon marshall
    5. Miles austin
    imo

One can easily make the case for Roddy White over Reggie Wayne. Over the last 2 years White has better stats with a worse QB. You take Wayne off the Colts and replace him with White IMO White puts up better numbers than Wayne.

TBH though I think when healthy Calvin Johnson rounds out the top 5 with AJ, Moss, Marshall and Fitz.

    wow son

He's not nearly as good of a route runner or has nearly good as good of hands as Wayne has. But as long as you're sticking to your nfl forum m.o. of scoffing the Colts

I'd take Austin over Wayne. Neither is as good as DHB, though.

Yes, I keep forgetting how good Calvin was in 2008 when he was healthy and had jack throwing to him.

Over the last 2 years, Roddy White has 2535 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns on a run first team. Reggie Wayne has 2409 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on a pass first team with maybe the best QB of all time. You're re ed if you thinking saying White > Wayne is scoffing the Colts.

I said maybe the best QB of all time, and I've never said differently of Manning. As long as I've been posting here I said Manning > Brady > any other QB in the NFL.

Too lazy to find, but it was les "Is Miles Austin the greatest wide receiver ever" or something of that sorts. Wish the Raiders had him.

Btw good job completely ignoring the part about how White has better stats than Wayne the last 2 years.

    that means he automatically better

I'll pull a DOK here and make a comment about how every NFL GM would take Wayne over White to prove my point.
