So are you suggesting that because he missed training camp with an injury he shouldn't be playing?
LOL wow this is horrible. 2/3 were sarcastic. Try again.

Which is why the Spurs should have gone after Shaq this offseason. You can never have too many bigs and it certainly wouldn't have stunted Tiago's development. Calling Bonner a big is insulting. He's a perimeter shooter and nothing more.
Why do you always talk about having sex with men in your post?
Meh, I happen to think that a fair amount of folks = 33%. Let's proceed......
Your half right. But Splitter was always a below average rebounder for his size. I don't expect things to change now because he's wearing silver and black. His entire defensive game is to pull out the flop card. When he plays straight up man to man, he's toast. And now you want to throw him against Pau, Bynum and Odom and call him the key to beating the Lakers.... Dream on.
On to being serious, no one expected Splitter to do anything against the Magic. In fact, when your other teammates don't play defense in garbage time, I expect easy points everywhere. The only person trying hard out there was Splitter and props to him on that one.
Tiago Splitter is not Andrew Bogut or Dwight Howard. He is not a player who can erase his teammates' defensive mistakes by himself. If anyone is thinking this, they are setting their targets too high.
Uh what?
No, I'm saying he was injured before the season even started and has a history of being injury prone which could easily be exacerbated by playing basketball the past full calendar year.
Others think he should be playing 35 minutes every game. What is the logic behind their demand?
Thanks.
Is that true? I haven't seen anyone say that. Seems to me the main idea is that Splitter should be utilized more frequently, not to become our minutes leader.
Why not?
They say his health and his playing all year are no issue whatsoever and he's young.
topic author = dumbass
the 'traffic cone' is way better than Blair, McDyess and Bonner
just time question.
this is one of the great thread les ive ever seen on this board![]()
I love how you try to come across as some salty old hardass when everyone here is well aware that you are a high cholesterol, fat ing mama's boy pecking away on your greasy keyboard and wearing your reversible Lakers jersey.. Celtics on the opposite side. You need to get a Heat jersey just in case.
So shut your holster.
What is stopping him from doing so?
Tell us.
I would like to see Splitter get the start over Blair for a few games. I think Blair would be better off the bench against the opposition's bench. That's where he prospered last year. He's shown he cannot handle the starters in the low post and he cannot score without crazy moves. His power game is nullified when he's starting. In Orlando, he had a foul and a turnover 30 seconds into the game. But Pop rewards effort, and Blair's summer work earned a lot of respect from Pop. That's why Bonner is still with the team.
No I will not help you fight a strawman
If you want arguments why Splitter should get more PT you can find plenty here already. Simply put: he is better than the alternatives![]()
So your opinion is there is nothing stopping Splitter from playing over 30 mpg.
OK.
If that's not your opinion, tell us what it is.
I was amazed at Dwight Howard's progress with his post moves. He is getting better, now that he is using technique as well as pure athleticism..
