That should be quite a long list:
Overrated:
- Andrea Bargnani
Not exactly a star, but people tend to overrate players putting up solid numbers on a crappy team - especially big men. The Raptors should have never signed him to that ridiculous contract.
- Andray Blatche
Can put up impressive stats but lacks any kind of IQ. Great supplement player. Once his contract is over he'll surely gets a big fat contract.
- Andrew Bynum
A good player with great potential but besides being injury prone, he shows no effort on improving his game. ing about not playing in the 4th is more important to him than working out. Should be a valuable trade asset though.
- Wilson Chandler
Long, athletic SF - it's a long shot but I'll doubt he can play on the current level for much longer.
- DeMar DeRozan
Athleticism, explosiveness - that's what makes him so good. He's inconsistent with his jumper and much like J.R. Smith (though DeMar has a better BB IQ) has to rely on his athleticism to be a good player.
- Ben Gordon
Why the did the Pistons sign him to that kind of contract? He's a very very poor version of Ray Allen.
- Jeff Green
Overrated when he came into the league (Media: He might be the 2nd best player in the draft). And hasn't shown that he can live up to the hype. Maybe it's the Thunder using him as a PF often, but without a change of scenery I can't see him succeed.
- Al Jefferson
A beat on offense - great footwork - great offensive repartoire in the post. Non existent on defense. Zach Randolph V2.0
- Joe Johnson
He's a great player, don't get me wrong, but seriously not a first option on a team.
- Chris Kaman
He's been putting up monster numbers a year ago on a team without a legit big. I know he's been injured but I doubt he can put up the numbers of last season with Griffin on the team.
- David Lee
I think that one needs no explanation.
Underrated:
- LaMarcus Aldridge
This guy is beastin' - not only because he always hits his shots vs. the Spurs - but he's also more valuable to the Blazers than Roy or Oden.
- Stephen Curry
Fragile, short guard with unbelievable range. Warriors are high on him but I still think he's underrated. Could be a legit first Tier PG in the future.
- Toney Douglas
Stuck behind Felton but Douglas showed his potential. Might be a legit starter on another team.
- Devin Harris
People know he can score - people know he can't lead the Nets but what makes him underrated is his solid defense. Pair him up with a superstar and you have a deadly combo.
- Andrei Kirilenko
He's overrated to many because of his ridiculous contract. His defense is still very good and he can be a valuable asset for any team. (if not overpaid)
- Lamar Odom
He may be dumb, Mr. Kardashian, loving candy ... but he's a good player and the Lakers use him perfectly.
