Rivalry games are the best.

I loved watching the Kings vs Lakers in the early 2000's

For me, two thing smake an exciting game or series. Styles (like in boxing) make a contest interesting ...TBH. If you have two uptempo teams and you enjoy scoring, then Phoenix vs. Denver ... or OKC vs. NYK ... or ANYONE vs. Gstate is exciting basketball.

If you prefer star power and classic rivals LAL vs. Boston. IF you enjoy a defensive struggle the Pistons vs. spurs NBA finals or the old Knicks vs. Heat series were defensive clinics ...

Point is, I love NBA basketball and as long as teams play hard I can appreciate any style of ball. Sure the Spurs (outside of Neal and Frenchy) are boring off the court but on it they have played quality ball for over a decade ...

and I disagree Lakers are boring ...but I do find their strategy predictable but I have been watching this version of the triangle and Kobe blay for over a decade ...so that is the only part that is not exciting. Lakers actually play some great ball when the ball moves and or Kobe utilizes his team-mates or is in a zone ...

hey I put that statement on my great great grandmother's grave...and no I don't count watching the Lakers play the Spurs as a Spurs game...tbh I don't think I've ever just sat down and watched a Spur game...not ever...I'm actually proud to say that...proud as a Papa watching his first child be born...

I love bball but I just can't sit through watching these guys play...I'll catch the ESPN highlights that's it...I'd be interested in knowing if any of my fellow Laker fans actually watches Spur games with such strong vested interest like the Spurs fans obviously watch Laker games... that's what's up....
