hey I put that statement on my great great grandmother's grave...and no I don't count watching the Lakers play the Spurs as a Spurs game...tbh I don't think I've ever just sat down and watched a Spur game...not ever...I'm actually proud to say that...proud as a Papa watching his first child be born...
I love bball but I just can't sit through watching these guys play...I'll catch the ESPN highlights that's it...I'd be interested in knowing if any of my fellow Laker fans actually watches Spur games with such strong vested interest like the Spurs fans obviously watch Laker games...that's what's up....

I've had fun watching the Spurs this year, tbh. They're finally watchable after all these years. Good for them cause if they win they'll no longer toil in obscurity.

It's called familiarity...I'm used to seeing the best do it...so it's hard to take a step back...seriously I don't watch Spur games...I really don't never have unless they're playing LA...I just have no interest in the Spurs and I don't find their brand of basketball compelling...tbh I think it's because of Kobe and Shaq and now Kobe...they've spoiled me no doubt....who knows maybe one after Kobe hangs it up...I'd feel more compelled to check the Spurs out on occasion....

That's because you're a Laker fan not from LA(you live in Houston). To be honest, the Spurs team does scare me as a fan. The last time I was scared as a fan was when I saw a young Manu play. Now, given that it's still nowhere near the playoffs I'm not too worried, however the Spurs are playing historic ball right now.
2 things - I don't live in "Houston" and two I was born and raised in streets of Compton...ok not Compton but technically not too far from it...
and finally I hate the cowboys and yankees....so front running you got life and bull ed up...
