It was an asshole move, but people have been taking shots at the guy forever... I like that he fired back, but it is sort of insulting to commonfolk.

LeBron can't handle being the favorite. He exceeded expectations from 2003-2008 because he was the underdog. Once his teams were on top they wilted.

It's funny as that Lebron thinks he has no personal problems despite having an alcoholic mother who assaults people and sleeps with his teammates.

Losing to Orlando opened the crack in his psyche.
Something happened in the last couple of years. Psychologically he is not the same player he was early in his career in Cleveland.

Maybe he can't handle being a favorite, or maybe it's something else. But he has changed.

Right up until Game 6 in Orlando. Something in him might have died that night, not to sound overly dramatic.

That's the thing that really surprises me, how childlike and petulant he's become.
I told you guys this years ago. He was minutes from being sent home while in Athens. USA Basketball had to actually meet and vote on sending the snob home for the betterment of the team. It was close.

Wojo wrote a long article describing the hassles from then. You won't ever see much on the USA heirachy and their dealings with him.

No one could stand James as a 19-year-old in the 2004 Athens Olympics, nor the 2006 World Championships. Officials feared James could become the instigator of everything they wanted to rid themselves for the ’08 Olympics.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...eeagency071610

Woja is a Bron hater though so many pass it off as ramblings but there was definetly a discussion by the 2008 team to possibly leave him off because of all the crap that went on in Athens. I saw several of them first hand as I was there. It's do mented in several articles. I remember one "Odom" quote as Bron was sitting on the bus and barking at some volunteers. "Maybe a liitle thank you would go a long way when ordering around your people" or something along those lines.

He's just a spoiled arrogant athlete that has always been catered to. They don't handle advirsity very well. Nothing more.

I always thought it was Mike Brown's influence telling him how to act and conduct himself as a professional and bring some of the Spurs ways over to Cleveland. Lebron to me seemed a lot more classy and mature a few years ago. I don't know what happened either. You guys would know better than us?

Didn't Bruce Bowen have a go at him when Bruce for trying out for Team USA for the 2006 world championships. I only read that recently so not sure what happened there. I think it said he was ordering people around and acting like a total ass and Bruce had a talk with him and then not long after Bruce got cut from the team. I think that also gave Bruce extra motivation in the 2007 finals. Anyone heard that story?

He's spent his entire life hearing he could do no wrong. Since he starting playing basketball, everyone has blown him. He doesn't know how to handle criticism. He's not used to being told he was the weak link.

As far as the media was concerned, he was always given the benefit of the doubt when he failed. He blamed his teammates and the media blamed his teammates. He blamed Dan Gilbert and the media did the same. His biggest mistake was when he started blaming the media for his failures. The same people who had built him up since he was 12. Now everyone with a press pass and a keyboard is ting all over King James.
Zing, we have a winner. I did wake up to some of the same issues I've had for a minute, but for the first time in a LONG time I couldn't take my eyes away from the television watching ESPN. The same station that helped create LeHype got feedback ranging from people questioning their messiah to dismantling the facade. It's like the world is rotating in the opposite direction. Props to the Mavs.

Whats sad for the Mavs is that we are hearing more about why Le choked again verses how well the Mavs played and how well they were coached throughout. All I hear on ESPN is what is wrong with LeCrab and his stupid comments about us poor folks.

It's true, they might not get their just due this time around ironically enough because of the 3-headed monster they just got done slaying and the hype surrounding the machine in Miami but the Mavs and their fans have something no one can take away from them as a result and have something LeBron is still seeking out.

As time moves along and basketball gets back to business (draft, CBA, etc.) Dallas will be recognized more as the defending champs and the team to beat going into next season. For now, I'm enjoying what I'm seeing until the major networks reload and hop back on LeBron's nutsack like he never fell flat on his face.

From Miami, LeBron would later send his message to them, to the folks enjoying his failure.

“At the end of the day, all the people that was rooting on me to fail – at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today,” James said. “They have the same personal problems they had today …

“They can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal, but they have to get back to the real world at some point.”
All true tbh... some people put too much effort into hating him. He plays basketball for 48 minutes a night about 100 time a year.. the rest of that time i dont think hes feeling sorry for himself like alot of ppl think .

Coincidentally, that's when my love affair started with the Magic . Lewis, Hedo, Pietrus and Skip did work and overcame a big Game 2 loss to take control of the series. Pietrus in particular defended Bron Bron and Orlando gave a total team effort similar to Dallas.

Bruce definitely took it to LeBron in the 2007 Finals, though I'm wondering if his horrible play and low averages were more due to Bowen or because of the fact that he's a pussy with no balls on the big stage. He raped the Pistons but turned into shriveled pair of nuts against the Spurs in the Finals.
