Yeah, you're pretty in' stupid. But I have hope for you based on your latest comment in the Was Duncan Ever the Best Player in the League thread. Seems a light bulb finally went off in that dim brain of yours.
Whatever you say gray Spur fan.

You know you fear me. It's why you sent me that friend request all those months ago, hoping that if we were virtual buddies, I'd go easy on you.

    Nuh uh.

Out of curiosity what are the minutes played at the time for those players per game and were they the number one option on offense?

Out of curiosity, if TOSB played more than 28 mpg, would he have anything left in his tank for the playoffs? 13/8 is his permanent ceiling. Damn.

Oh, and Mr. Cleeotonidas, looking at your sig reminds me of how many times Lamar Odom looks like 1st team all NBA v. Suns. You posting vids of TOSB and getting all hot/bothered is like a $3 bill.

6'5" was pretty damn tall back then li'l man. Going by your argument, I shouldn't include 6'4" Barkley either - who just so happen to play the same position: PF

And quit going on historical achievements. I know TD was a good player for a long time. Bottom line for me is of all the players I listed, he had the tiest overall stats. No way to spin that bruh.
Well son, you're trying to downplay Duncan, and no matter how try to spin that , you come off as a moron or obvious troll.

And Baylor was a SF. Lol.

son don't bother posting facts and stats in here. Spur fan says they don't count. when Duncan is 36 and putting up some even more pathetic ass numbers like 10 and 6, they will still try saying "well if he played an extra 5 minutes per game then he would be dropping 20 and 10!!"

Being 35 is no excuse for being a tired old bag:

    Mailman 27.0ppg/10.3rpg/3.9apg/0.9bpg
Elgin Baylor 24.8ppg/10.6rpg/5.4apg/(blocks stats not kept back in 1969)
    Kareem 23.9ppg/8.7rpg/3apg/2.7bpg
    Elvin Hayes 23.0ppg/11.0rpg/1.6apg/2.3bpg
    Ewing 20.8ppg/10.2ppg/1.1apg/2.2bpg
    Dan Issel 19.8ppg/
    Dream 18.9ppg/9.5rpg/1.8apg/2.5bpg
    Admiral 17.8ppg/9.6rpg/1.8apg/2.3bpg
    Shaq 17.3ppg/7.4rpg/2.0apg/1.4bpg
    Barkley 16.1ppg/12.3rpg/4.6apg/0.3bpg
Wilt 14.7ppg/19.2rpg/4.0apg (block stats not kept back in 1971)
    TD 13.4ppg/8.9rpg/2.9apg/1.9bpg

    Discuss.

Instead of comparing them at the same age, why not compare them at the same amount of games played? Aside from Kareem I doubt anybody on that list had played as many games as Timmy by the time they hit 35, and NOBODY is or should be trying to claim that Tim was better than Kareem.

Here I'll put it in easier terms for you. Kobe's age is not a good odometer. This is because he jumped into the league straight out of HS and has played in MANY postseason games. Understand?

Mailman delivered 27 per at age 35 and played just as many games (maybe more) than TD did at that age. I'm sure Utah never went lottery in the Stockton/Malone era so for him to double up TD's offensive production at the same age speaks wonders about him as an athlete. Or, does this feed into my theory: the refs made TD. When he no longer had the athletic ability to pull his WWE stunts, 13/8 became a reality. Now I'm afraid 13/8 is his permanent ceilingPERIOD. Understand, man?

only one year ago TD was still barely a 20+10 guy. dude like turned overnight which shocked/disappointed a lot of his fans, his 13/7 stats doesnt look too bad by itself but the speed of his slumping is jolly shocking. lets just wait & see if he can get things back in the new season (if there is a new season)

Wait, back to what really mattered on this thread... why can't we make fun of Lakers players when tragedy befalls them?

    1) They are Lakers.
    2) I'm sure we are not the only ones.
