There doesn't just happen to be sick people in the military. The military attracts sick people. Most soldiers in Iraq enjoy being able to torture, kill, harass, rape, etc. anything and everything they chose with impunity.

The very reason the media is praising the miltary on a daily basis is because there is a "war" going on right now in the Middle East. I take it that you dont agree with the war? Fine, I dont either. That being said, the men and women who are losing their lives in the name of your country deserve praise. The people who are taking these US soldiers lives hate you and everyone you probably love. The very people who are shooting at US soldiers would love the opportunity to do the same to you. You do not have the power to stop this war. Neither does the people fighting in the war right now. The very least you can do is respect their decision to fight.
Saying things like "most soldiers" doesn't make it true. Again, I'd like you to talk about how much exposure you've had to military members.

I am not going to say this again:
I DO NOT SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRAQ. I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS PARTICULAR WAR IS A NECESSITY TO MAINTAIN THE GREATER GOOD IN AMERICA.
I do believe majority of the US soldiers fighting in this war believe they are fighting for American freedom (for whatever that means). In reality are they fighting for American freedom? NO, probably not
But they still deserve respect and praise for risking their lives. They were told by their commanders (or whoever) they would be risking their lives for the good of the world. They choose to signup to take that risk. We can debate this war all day, but what you cant debate is the fact that American men and woman are dying right now in Iraq and Afghanistan because they had the balls to go into a foreign country many of them knew nothing about. They had the balls to get shot at by people who want them dead. That alone is honorable.
Iraqis only want them dead because they're terrorizing Iraq and its people.

The US military has accomplished nothing in Iraq other than blow through trillions of tax payer dollars. If stating that when it's in fact the truth is disgracing the soldiers, then yeah, I'm disgracing the soldiers.

According to you, American soldiers have been told by their commanding officers that they're fighting for the greater good of America by going to Iraq, which makes going to Iraq honorable.
German Soldiers were told by their SS Officer that murdering and gassing Jews to death was for the greater good of Germany and mankind. By your logic, that makes German soldiers who contributed to the Holocaust honorable. Your logic, not mine.
